Hi i just want ot ask what you would recommend for me i have a superlight and a average amazon desk mat and wanted to know what skates and mouse pad you would recommend i play on 1.5 800dpi on apex and looking for a sort of fast mouse pad but not to fast as i want to be able to track enemies good i feel like when doing micro ajustments atm it takes a bit to much force and my micro adjustments seem to not be so micro with the force needed to move my mouse unless its just me been trash hahaha thanks

I usually leave my DPI at 800 and for games like Valorant have my in game mouse setting set around .20-.25 and for tracking games I'm around 2 in game. I like the idea of a hyper consistent feel, but could I even go low enough in games to get back how I need things to feel to have decent aim? I can't decide if glass pads are brilliant or a passing fad?? I don't really see any pro players or high level streamers using them yet. Keep up the awesome work! I find your reviews insightful.

I don't think pro players would use glass pads because of the issues they'd have with travelling with them to tournaments. I don't think they're a passing fad, I did at first but that was until I actually used one. This just eliminates a huge issue I have with cloth which is maintenance and consistency.

@@DiamondLobbyReviews Valid point about travel to LANs. All of my mice have Core pads on them now and I've gone back to using a Saturn pad because of the control I have. I LOVE the idea of never wearing out another pad, but I'm concerned I couldn't a glass pad slow enough for the level of control I need to actually hit any shots. I would enjoy hearing more about how your transition went to this pad.

@@giff74 I know this comment is a year old but: I went from a saturn to the pulsar superglide and it's not actually that big of a difference, yes the superglide is faster but it does have a lot more texture that you would think and actually stops better than some cloth pads I have tried.

I've been using hard surface pads for years. Currently using a Lamzu Atlantis with sapphire skates - not sure if I could even use a glass pad without destroying it.

Hi, great review. In comparison to cordura mouse pads like the MPC450 or the Esports Tiger Blaze (my main pad atm) how big the difference in speed and stopping power is ?

I think cordura has less stopping power, I'd put them at roughly the same speed. But I feel like the weight of a mouse has a bigger impact on glass mousepads.

I mainly use mice around 60 grams (owned a GPX, got a MZ1 Wireless and currently using an XM2we) but I plan to get heavier mice from vaxee or zowie cuz they got some interesting shape with a real coating, like the NP-01, NP-01s and the S2 once they go wireless. So is there a noticeable difference with mice between 60 and 80 grams (stock mouse skates don't play an important role I guess on these types of pad) ? Also will ptfe skates wear out faster on glass than on cordura ?

Depends on the skates and how heavyhanded you are (how much pressure you put on the moue), but about a new set every 2-4 months if you play a good amount otherwise maybe 2 a year.

No you want to have low effective edpi . Its glass so there is basicly no realy stoping point . If you play high effective edpi you wont have anyway to control your movement

Yes its has problems like every bit of dust makes it unusabel . The fact that there is no stoping point when you go you go so you need to have realy low sens to combensate . Everybody i know stoped useing theres

please stop spreading misinformation, its the other way round in fact, people that play on high sensitivity will get the most out of this pad, people that play on low sense will have a hard time adjusting.

@@dope5684 when you play on high sense one of the weaknesses is fine movements/micro adjusting, a glass mouse pad makes this more achievable for high sense players. Most people that play on low sense make wide fast flicks with their whole arm and this becomes a problem as glass pad dont have much stopping power. You can get used to it for sure but high sense has way more pros to playing on a glass pad.

​@@CodyG_95 i play high sens and something like that sucks as well for high sens you will never get any control or feeling when to stop . Its great for pure tracking but i for my self dont see any reason to realy us a glass pad its a dust nightmare as well . Nobody i know that has one sruck with it
