Amazing you don't get stiff and sore doing that heavy work. Be sure you drink plenty of liquids so the blood can get through the heart easier . So many people have heart attacks in the morning because they get dehydrated during the night You sure got a cutie, I think she likes to be sung to. Animals like music. some farmers put radios out in the milk house.

Ms. Helen your chickens are so used to you coming to them with food. When you talk to us they think you are also talking to them. That's why they are always crow and make noise. When I had chickens I would go out to where they were. I would speak and they would all make noises back. Memphis would not let me have a rooster, so one of my hens crowed anyway!

I have a little Buff Orpington mix, a rescue who loves me in the same way I love her. She lived inside for a long time until she healed up. My neighbor said she just showed up on her little farm, and all her chickens and the rooster tried killing her. Then my chickens did the same thing, so my husband asked me what I wanted for Valentine's Day, and I told him I wanted a coop for my little Buff Orpington, whom I named Little Bit. She's got her own little palace, and it's so cute. I wish I could send you pictures somehow.
