With the death of her friends, Lev (and Yara, but rip) is the only emotional tether she's got left pretty much. And he's shown to be an incredible, courageous kid, so of course she would protect him. It's a very emotional moment, and a really good line resuming and concluding her character arch, in my opinion.

For the grounded mode trophy. Can you still get the trophy. If you customize it a bit in the settings. Like have the player setting on grounded. But resources on very light?. Lots of people complain about Abby's introduction into the story and obviously Joel's death, but for me, the most weak plot element that was introduced into the game was Isaac. What did he bring up to the story? What was his supposed arc? We see all the WLF guys talking about him as their glorious but 'evil' leader because he tortures people, but for what reason? Is there an origin into why he does what he does? He is supposedly Marlene's brother right? If so, then I don't think that's even relevant because during the game we see no connection whatsoever between them, he could be somebody else not related to her and it would not add anything to his background or to the storyline... Worst thing, in the second scene we finally see him talk he gets clipped by Yara, fulfilling absolutely nothing. I understand he is not the main antagonist of the game but still I think he was underdeveloped and just placed to fill a place to justify Abby's actions.

Hope isn't the word I'd use. ive played the game through probably 6 or 7 times now and while the game play is so dynamic that each time was different, the one constant at the end was that I felt that eventually the store might be better for the characters even though you know it will hurt before it's better. you're left with an almost sinking feeling bc of the 20 some hours of brutal game play and story, but I promise it's so so worth it.
