I hated when people blamed him for that. The Fireflys were insanely irresponsibly and likely would have murdered Ellie without getting a cure. Abby's dad was a surgeon, not a virologist. They had no way of creating a vaccine even if they removed her brain. Also they decided to do this after she had been there for less than a day. Not even taking blood samples and testing. Look at covid, that was the fastest we tried to get a vaccine out because it was a global pandemic and it still took over a year with thousands of people working on it. I absolutely would have done what Joel did.

1:06 it's almost like the npc heard Ellie's footsteps and thought that a friendly was behind her, and looked to tell them she found a dead friendly. One enemy was killed and the other was stealth killed. And the woman only saw one body so the footsteps could have been the one friendly she didnt see die yet. Thats some detail!

@@kevint4760 What I'm saying is that blowing that woman's legs off was absolutely unnecessary but Ellen WANTED her to suffer. In this situation, Ellen had the option to avoid unnecessary pain but she chose to make her victim suffer as much as possible just for fun. That's inhumanely sadistic. Stomping in someone's head is brutal and maybe even more painful, but there's no way to make it less painful. Actually, the more painful the faster it will end so, if anything, Ellen is being merciful by stomping in their heads as strong as possible. In resume: Stomping in heads: Brutal. Blowing a person's leg off even though you could just shot the said person in the head and kill her instantly: Sadistic. *Phew*

Yeah, my experience was pretty much like this. I didn't enjoy the story and New chacters that much but had a blast killing things in the most brutal ways. But then I got online and realized that I was not only "too dumb to get the big brain story" but also a psycopath for enjoying the combat. Guess I should get myself commited to a mental institution now for enjoying actual gameplay in a videogame, huh...

I think what I find that I love the most of your videos, is how much trust you have in the mechanics. Hearing the detection noise makes me freak out, but you let run for a solid 5-10 seconds without getting detected in the end. It just amazes me. 10/10 as always.

At 10:15 , he didn't even kill the last Clicker and just left it there so we as the viewer can still hear the man's scream of being eaten alive while Ellie keeps on with her quest. Such beautiful and amazing brutality displayed in a well-thought way I dare say.
