@@cjjackson2423 The difference for me is that they take the time to have a proper discussion, theorize on where characters are going, recall moments and get in the characters heads and empathize. With the exception of a few channels like Blindwave or The Normies, its actually pretty rare. A lot of channels just go 'wow that was crazy! This show is cool, hope you enjoyed my reaction' and dont really deep dive. I just enjoy a reaction much more when I know the people are truly invested and when I know what their opinions of all the characters are. Especially for GOT and its plethora of characters and morally grey world these two make for a great watch because I know which moments will hit and how smaller scenes for some people might affect one of them more than the other. I dont know, im rambling but when I watch these two I know where they stand, because they take the time to tell us and it makes for a fun experience.

I love how Joel and Ellie both react quickly to say Joel is not Ellie's dad but during the attack by the infected, Joel protects her like he's her father and even though it can be argued that he's protecting her bc she's important cargo you can clearly see in his eyes that it's more than that. He has grown to really care about her. Also on Ellie side, during the attack. She depends on Joel like a daughter would. She's thankful he is there to watch over her as she runs through the infected with Joel picking them off from the watchtower. And before Joel leaves to outflank the guy shooting at them from the watchtower, Ellie tells him not to go bc he could get killed or they could. You can see the father daughter dynamic clear as day. Am sure we will continue to enjoy this relationship that will no doubt bring us moments of joy and sorrow alike.c

I love the discipline Pudgey has about spoilers, and I love that Spartan adheres to it out of respect. As you said, learning the name of that next level infected is probably not a big deal. So many reactors to popular shows these days pretend that they haven't been exposed to spoilers, when that's totally not the case. I honestly think that many of them delude themselves into believing they haven't been spoiled. I've also seen reactors look up stuff on their phone while they're watching. Like they'll look up an actor or if it's an adaptation they'll look up the source material, which is totally spoilery. IIRC in the game in the underground shelter, in addition to fighting some infected on the way, you find a lot of documents about the people who lived and survived here, and then you progressively find documents revealing that some infected managed to get in, and how people tried to fight them or to barricade themselves inside. It's been a while but I have a memory of like entering a room in which there was an infected, you kill it and then in a document it's basically revealed that it's someone you've been reading about during the entire area. The game is absolutely filled to the brim with little stories like that of groups of survivors, and although it might seem unsignificant, when you take then time to make the connexions with the infected you've been seeing during gameplay, it becomes deeply tragic. Really great writing, but utterly depressing.

I don't blame Spartan for forgetting, the game came out 10 years ago. Things like God of War, 300, etc kinda can be associated together and thus easier to remember. The Last of Us, though amazing, was unique and doesn't really associate with anything else (I will die on the hill that this an walking dead are drastically different) Plus games like God of War have sequels still coming out, keeping it fresh. Spartan remembers enough to prove he played it, but as always, it's great to see both Spartan and Pudgey's reactions!

oh and I'll just add about the stages of infection: it's not a spoiler at this point stage 1 - runner: full senses very sensitive to movement, charge very fast, starting to lose some coordination stage 2 - stalker: part of the head covered, vision affected but can still see movement, much more erratic and twitch in movement. tend to walk upto prey more calmly and quietly (like with Tess) stage 3 - clicker: vision gone, fully reliant on hearing, head covered in fungal plates and use echolocation to "see" prey stage 4 - bloater: large individuals that have been infected for a long long time in dark dry places. body completely covered in fungal plates making them very strong and very durable. in-game they have spore sacks and can throw spores on u...but in the show it looks like they don't. But the ripping u half is accurate from the game

I started to watch for Pudgeys emotional breakdowns and stayed for Spartan character Development and sometimes he is unintentionally funny, please never change Spartan it makes you super likeable. One moment you say something smart and 2 min later totally clueless, now that I think about it you remind me of Zokka from Avatar XD

I've been waiting for this reaction since the episode came out. There are 4 episodes left and I think they'll be pretty emotional. It's kind of a good thing Spartan doesn't remember much of the game because it feels like he's discovering everything now :) Thank you for your awesome reactions. Can't wait for the next video :)

The Infected Version´s are: - Runner (the fast ones, can see and hear) - Clicker (can´t see, but hear) - Bloater (the new big boy, he can run, hear and he can shoot / throw spurs). later in the Series (Video Game + Part 2) . Stalker (a mix of a Runner and Clicker) - Shambler (a other Version of a Bloater, but he don´t run, he only walked)

Kathleen was talking about the informants. She told them we can put you on trial, you're all guilty, that's how that's going to go, but you can serve some time, then move on. When they weren't giving her what she wanted, the trials were off the table, kill them all, which scared one into giving up who helped Sam and Henry. So she left, leaving them to believe they would get trials, serve some sentence of time and survive. Perry asked if we're really going to put them on trial. Kathleen says no, we're not putting them on trial. When you're finished burn the bodies it's quicker. Both of you had part of it right, for example Spartan was right that she said they'd serve time. Pudgey was right about who she meant to burn. About 70% of reactions I've seen verbally identify Henry as Sam's dad. 20% don't specifically, and 10% acknowledge they are family, but don't assume father/son. If you check the closing credits you'll see the name for that big monstrosity. I won't say it, because it hasn't been named in the show proper. But remember Ep 2, When Ellie is asking Tess about infected? The split open heads who see like bats (later shown and referred to as Clickers) She also asks about enormous super infected that spew spores all over you and Tess says "God, I hope not," Depends whether you consider information given in the closing credits "spoiler" when it names an infected type. I can't remember what that pad was called, but I remember it from when I was a little kid in the 70s. Parents gave those to kids so they could draw to their hearts content, without marking on walls and scribbling on important papers. I'm honestly impressed either of you would remember it, but since I don't have kids, I haven't been shopping for many "daily toys" for kids. Remember. Sam's deaf. So his lack of reaction to Ellie saying Hey... The fungus can't pick up the input from his ears. In a way, it's a good thing that smearing her blood on a fresh bite isn't a cure. Treatments derived from blood for a virus, usually involves sampling the blood, isolating what affects the virus, and finding a way to recreate that. Alternatively, some can be beaten with a compatible type blood transfusion that includes antibodies. Exactly how her body defeats a fungus in her body, is a matter that should need a lot of research, and the only option that might have a chance without research would likely be a transfusion of a significant amount of whole blood (take x amount of blood, remove it from Ellie, introduce it directly into the bloodstream of the patient, hope for the best) But what if it isn't blood? What if it's something else in her body?
