On one of my playthroughs I've only encountered 3 sleeping runners (inside a maintenance tunnel) in the Bus Depot area due to some bug I guess. That was a disappointment :) Didn't manage to reproduce it though.

I just went through this area on grounded for the first time. I choked out the three runners in the hallway then Joel said the endure and survive line. There were no other runners, clickers or bloaters in this area. I walked right through it. Maybe it was a glitch. I don't know what happened but I'll take it lol. This game on grounded can go to hell after all the tricks and fuckery it pulled on me.

Stephen. S same thing here. Ellie said “whoa, look how many there are” or something along those lines. And I’m like, whatcha talkin’ bout? I couldn’t even barely see the three runners, then I edged a bit and saw them. Thought, yeah there are 3 of them, but hey, we can take them down easily... so I did, and that was the end of it. I knew something was not right though - the size of the map, the music, the scripted conversation all pointed to something more sinister. I think if you go for the runners first, the others don’t appear or something.

after playing MP for so long, everytime I go back to story mode I wreck everything. The bow is my primary weapon always so I alway go hard. This part, financial district, and Ellis story are my favorite levels to go back too. I've beaten it in every way possible. sneak past everyone and then horde them back to the beginning ;) Enjoy

I beat it too many times and the multiplayer is so good but I hate if your a decent player you get lumped with total diddies most matches because the matchmaking is based upon kill death ratio. Lots of people have manipulated their kill death ratios so they always get a decent team and it's severely unbalanced. Don't get me wrong I can carry a team but the question is. How many matches do you want to carry a team before you get sick of losing even though you get like 15 downs 15 executions 2 deaths but you barely win a round in survivors and there are no lives left on supply raid. LOL. It's a brilliant game all round. Can't believe Uncharted 4 multiplayer was so bad compared to this. It's like they put no effort into Uncharted 4 multiplayer whatsoever.

Try Covert Training 3 with silenced weapons like the Shorty and Agility 2 and crouch walk so people online can't spam listen mode and see you through walls. Hide behind cover with covert training 3 and wait for someone to go by and follow him/her and shiv them. I know how you feel though because since people on ps4 starting using those USB key adapters to use a mouse controller on ps4 and it tricks the ps4 into thinking your using a mouse controller so it gives you aim assist as well. There are a lot of players with unfair advantages over controller players using mouse controllers with aim assist on the The Last Of Us Remastered Factions. These devices have essentially ruined ps4 competitive multiplayer sadly. There are also some players shooting through walls ruining the game too.

I've beat Grounded mode about 30 times so I know where everything is. I also use the shiv glitch with an upgraded melee weapon so I manage to open all the shiv doors and raid the supplies within those doors.

You need an upgraded melee weapon and another melee weapon to be lying on the floor. You then swap your upgraded melee weapon for the weapon on the floor and immediately swap back and you should be able to craft a full shiv. Then do the same again until you have 3 full shivs. I always keep an upgraded melee weapon on me so when an enemy drops a melee weapon I can do the glitch immediately and replenish my shivs. You can see me performing the infinite shiv glitch on youtube. Just put The Last Of Us Infinite Shiv Glitch Laconian Sword and it'll come up. I explain it verbally as well so you can see how it is done. When I say a upgraded melee weapon it has to have the nails sticking out of it. So like a wooden stick or a baseball bat or an axe or a machete or a metal pipe. You have to physically go into the crafting menu and upgrade it then swap it with another melee weapon on the ground.

On normal i killed the clickers and infected and then I lured a bloater to the far end of the tunnel and ran to the container, I climbed over just in time to avoid them.

Yeah i've tried different methods on a lot of sections. It's nice to see different outcomes even if you die in the process. The game caters to a lot of playstyles. I prefer stealthing most sections but i like having the option to go gung-ho especially if i make a mistake while stealthing.

I just did this level yesterday (On Survivor+ because I'm a cheapskate and didn't want to pay for Grounded) and food out that you can just quietly strangle all the runners in that side tunnel right before the second group of infected, which makes the mission way easier. My first playthrough on normal and my second one which was on survivor I never tried that because I assumed that they were too close to each other and being runners they would see me if got too close. It was after watching Laconian Sword strangle those first runners that I thought hey what if...oh snap it works. And then today I find out that's exactly what he did.

Bloater killing proof:sneak at escape point and kill the runner that was guarding it with either straggle/shiv or bow with NO trigger! And then sneak all the way to the end and kill the ones at end,too easy,but "scary"

Because I picked up the upgrades on grounded mode that extend the range of the bomb and molotovs which makes them much more powerful against enemies.

Surprised even in grounded mode you can sneak up to the runners and choke them out.

You can kill pretty much all of them without the others knowing you're there, I'm just a casual gamer and didn't really find this bit challenging although it was very tense

Try aiming your gun while walking or aim a brick or bottle when walking and it let's you move at a pace where the enemies don't detect you. I found that a useful tip.

I've beat the game all the way through to hard, and new game plus deal. I don't even know yet what grounded mode is like or what's different. I'm giving it a couple days before I play again.

The health bar disappears on grounded mode. Enemies detect you easier and you die quicker from enemies attacks.
