4:26 to 4:36. The world succumbed so long ago to the Cordyceps infection that Joel has lost his faith on the cure. It’s a small dialogue, but tell so much about the hopelessness of the remaining humans.

Do you feel like this moment and scene is depicted well versus the video game? I think this is set up and acted well however the video game moment of the same exchange feels more raw with the rain and dark skies seeming like a fourth character or an omen. @enzomezacasa

Anna Torv was the best casting choice for this show. She felt as close to the game character more than anyone else.

Tess's tune immediately changes when she sees Ellie eating a sandwich. The virus transferred through flour and stuff; the bread Ellie is eating would obviously have to be "new" and likewise not infected, but part of me wonders if Marlene packed it as a nudge nudge. As far as I can tell, Ellie eating bread is right about when Tess seems to mull the thought over extra hard and change her tune.

Oh yes yes yes yes that is what the gamers expected with tlou2, see Joel, Tess and Tommy back in their dark days when they were hunters, but they just showed us entirely Abby's character and not Even a glimpse of Joel's past, before Ellie

The first game was about *both* of them, and if you forced me to pick, Joel is more the main character in the first one. The whole game is building to his decision, and he has the most agency over the plot. And if you dont think it's fair to say that fans wanted to see more of Joel in tlou2, I dont know what to tell you😂
