That game engine is absolutely breathtaking. Might look small, and like nothing major adding scratches to concrete and more debris on the ground and the engine blending it all together so smoothly but the time and detail and physics and coding that went into creating an engine That powerful, That smart to create such an amazing and detailed world like TLOU2. And lets not forget the game AI for the enemies, that's a whole other area I can gush and rant about for hours. Amazing work done by naughty dog!

I just finished the game yesterday and every time i am coming back to watch more related videos on the game. Seeing this made me appreciate game even more seeing how many efforts and work it took to make this game visually stunning and with so many visually perfect animations. I cried throughout the gameplay till the end as the story unfolded and do not regret it. 7 years worth it, man. This game did received the Golden Joystick Award and Ashley and Troy also get award not only for the character development from game 1 but also for their performance and how deeply they were able to make characters as if they were real. First time ever I ever felt emotional connection with the game. (Sorry this comment was supposed to be short) Hats off to the whole NaughtyDog Team.

My favoritr detail is sprinting and such and how fluid and natural it looks. And it isnt just one looped action. How it changes the longer youre running, and what it looks like when you stop. Also the vertigo effect when playing as abby

@hfgat05073 жыл бұрын
oh no problem! Usually a blind person would just have to listen to the scenes, but hopefully at some point they can update the game to have what is called video descriptions. Video descriptions tells you what is on the screen. Let’s hope they can add that sometime.

Is it just me or wouldn't a real bow and arrow provide the proper sound for a "wait for it"..................... ........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Bow and arrow
@danzirvine4 жыл бұрын
It is a funny thing, as a sound designer myself its a weird thing. One would think that using the prop that your trying to represent the sound seen on screen would be the best way to get a realistic sound but the truth is it isn't. It can sometimes be sound too weak or its just far too quiet to record. Think of it like a punch, if you throw a punch in hit someone in the jaw the sound doesn't sound all that epic but more a muted dull slap sound. Compared that to The hollywood sound of ultra-realisticness where the punch sound will be layered with veg violence to get "bone breaking" sound fx, towel whipping, wooshes, thund impacts, and slap all to get a more impactful sound. This is the same with the bow and arrow, 1 the bow might not creak or very little and may be quiet or quite high in its pitch, 2 the sound of the string might hardly make a noise the same way a rope in real life doesn't make that rubbery tightning sound that you hear in a film were the character is being strung up . If u have ever worked with one ud find that they dont make much of a noise even on the draw back, the most noise is the cutting of the wind on the let go but due to us all growing up with movies we have been conditioned to expect more so the foley artist used a fiddle, or violin if u prefer, to imitate the creaking also known as doing foley work.
