@blake7587Ай бұрын
No it’s not. Part 1 was a masterpiece. You’re definitely a Democrat though that’s for sure 😆. It has a 68% rating for a reason. People HATE games & films that try to shove the political ideology of the developers who made it down the throats of players. TLOU2 is notorious for this because it begins 6 minutes into the game and the player can never go more than 10 minutes of playing without it trying to shove some Democrat belief down the players throats. I think it will get the same totally justified criticism the game got especially because the show is WAY worse about the brainwashing than even the game. No Joel is not a Mexican. No Sarah is not Black. and NO Ellie is not British. It’s just a shame seeing white culture totally brown washed by the same people who whined about “white washing” and “cultural appropriation”. 🙄 Then again Democrats also loved slavery and Jim Crow laws even when WE told them centuries ago that it was evil and to stop and eventually died by the hundreds of thousands to stop it. Leftist stupidity always costs us greatly and all because they’re too ignorant to recognize what truth is.

I'm stoked for season 2, no doubt! That scene with Ellie and Dina in the music store.. aye, that melted my heart in the game. Can't wait to see it play out in the show! Also, ngl.. I might have enjoyed playing Abby's journey in the game more than Ellie's. Something about it just felt more deep, and urgent to me. I loved both parts, don't get me wrong.. but man, Abby's story was pretty compelling.

The Last of Us 2 is a masterpiece of a game, i immediately loved it back in 2020 and i know a lot more people have come around to loving the game as well during those 4 years. The overall reception of the game is pretty positive now, people who hated it were always a very loud minority (even if i respect their opinion, especially if they weren't bigoted).
@DamienJuxonАй бұрын
I think instead of a very buff abby, theyre going to go down the road that shes just an amazing fighter or something along those lines.
@agffans5725Ай бұрын
In season 1 Joel was made look more vulnerable than in the game. and notice that he is also sheading tears at the end of this teaser, not to forget the therapist at the very start, that has been added and is not in the game at all, so you can expect season 2 to be going in kind of the same direction in some places and differ from the game that is very much about hate and vengeance.

I hope more gamers will start tagging their reactions as #spoilers if they are going to post them. Just to protect the curious ones that are checking out trailers! I understand this won't be a completely foolproof method, but I think it is helpful to many!!!

Okay, I've loved the second game since it released (as a 39 year old dude). The game won hundreds of GOTY awards and sold millions of copies. We (fans) aren't in the minority despite the persistent negative noise. Joel's arc was done by the end of the first game. I'm hyped as fuck for this. I'm replaying TLoU2 yet again after seeing these trailers. The Abby head-turn after the "what did you do" line is in this trailer is chilling.
@agffans5725Ай бұрын
Abby was not at all "jacked" before and at the time when what happened to her father, which will obviously be in season 2, and with her relationship with her father probably explained even more so than in the game. It has already been alluded to, that we are not only talking about at least a season 2 + a season 3 based on the 2nd game, but also that the structure and chronology is going to make season 2 different from the game.
@leon300_79Ай бұрын
I’m excited, nervous, and yet bummed because I heard they may not use Future Days because of stupid time line purposes. I pray they make some sort of exception and just use it anyway because I can’t hear any other song but that and will be disappointed if they don’t. It’s just played too many times during the game and brings out so many emotions that I’m afraid it’ll take away from the experience of watching the show for some gamers. At least it would for me.
@AGirlAndAReactionАй бұрын
Oh really? :/ that sucks because yeah I agree. It's a pivotal song for Joel and Ellie.
@jesserolufs715Ай бұрын
The "Future Days" scene was originally an epilogue/alternate ending for the first game, and was performed as such after the One Night Live performance in 2014. In the original scene, Joel claims that he wrote the song for someone - implied to be Sarah - before playing it for Ellie. (I suspect that at this point Neil already knew they were doing a sequel and this scene was in it, and the song choice itself was probably intended to be a placeholder before realizing how perfect the lyrics fit the game thematically.) But with a little of suspension of disbelief from the Pearl Jam fans, I think they could easily get away with this excuse in the show to avoid timeline issues.

did anyone notice there wasn’t any spores in the show or gas masks, I’m interested in why they took that out or if it’s in season 2 why they waited but it overall looks so good!!

I don't care what nobody says, I love Abby's character. It's not like she did all of that for no reason, most of us just grew an emotional connection to Ellie and Joel, and Joel is not by any means a good person per say but he has a good heart (in certain cases). Abby vs Ellie............I can't wait.
@AGirlAndAReactionАй бұрын
People always miss that Joel isn't a good person and never intended to be. He was selfish in his decision to save Ellie but it makes him human. Because in reality we'd probably all do this for someone we love. That's what makes him such a great character. Same with Abby. She isn't bad, she's hurt and looking for a way to fix it. Which also translates to Ellie. She isn't the villain, she's a victim of revenge.
@kennycooper294Ай бұрын
I don't care if they change anything but i know how tv viewers are and there will be riots if the order of the game stays the same. they are rumored to have a 7 episode season so it will be hard to change things up a lot and still tell the same story.

@blake7587Ай бұрын
I think it’s going to get the same rightful criticism as the game. Yea Democrats love it because it basically spends the entire time parroting Democrat ideology. But the reason it has a 68% rating compared to 96% for Part 1 is because everyone else HATES when games try to indoctrinate them with political ideology. And TLoU2 does ALOT of that. It literally starts the moment you take control of Ellie the first time in Jackson.

Joel's death wasn't the thing that bothered me. It's that the game then forced me (player) to empathize with his killer. Also while simultaneously shifting Ellie into a villain. I felt the characters I grew to love Joel, Ellie, and even Tommy where very out of character. (If that statement even makes sense)

I didn't really see Ellie as a villain, nor Abby. It's more of a lesson of revenge, for both characters. They're both in the wrong.
@TownsendReddishАй бұрын
Id have to agree with you on that one, Ellie and Tommy felt really out of character to me and the story just didn’t feel right. I see what they were trying to go for but i feel like they took characters and got rid of all of there traits And so many scenes felt off?like the one with Ellie getting emotional over Nora also felt extremely weird, considering the mobs of people shes killed prior and so on And I absolutely believe the Ellie we knew would’ve come around for Joel much earlier when she learned the truth I’m not gonna hate on the game, but for people to claim that this game was the best game ever, or better than part one gets me so confused 😂
@pooty195Ай бұрын
@@TownsendReddish There's not much to be confused about, many people see the characters as a natural progression from what happened in Part 1. Regarding Nora there is a difference between killing people trying to kill you vs. torturing a defenseless person for info.
