My Tips: 1. Always stick by compaions (Ellie, etc) they will randomly give you med packs and ammo. 2. Take your time to observe the situations you are in. 3. Don't waste your shivs on locked doors no good loot. (Also use shiv dupe glitch search it up) 4. The more ammo you use the more you get back from corpses. That's it good!

In Survivor mode, your companions rarely (if ever) give you free med packs. Tess will give you one at the start of the game, and 1 later, but that's about it. Also, shiv doors are your best source of loot, pills and gears. You should *always* use a shiv on every shiv door. Never heard of anyone saying that shiv doors are a waste of time. 😆 Finally, using more ammo does not automatically get you more back from corpses. That method will have you run out of ammo pretty quickly.

This video helped out a lot. Right now i am halfway done with Survivor+ and have a lot of ammo and actually got a lot of melee weapons in the first playthrough. I highly recommend using bottles and bricks to do a lot of melee combat and preserving every crafting materials that are only needed necessarily for specific sequences (Bloater encounter), ( a horde of Infected), and (Shiv doors)

I have played survivor twice, normal once, easy once, collected all artifacts, firefly pendants and all optional conversations, and I am on chapter 9 on grounded yet I still didn't know that there is a safe in Bill's town. Next time I play I am defiantly getting it lol

I completed my first play through on medium. I found it relatively easy but I did struggle on some parts. Upon completing the game I played the left behind dlc but decided to do it on survivor. I actually did reasonably ok and completed within a couple of hours whilst only really struggling on the end fight and some stealth parts. I’m starting the game over again on survivor and I feel like I can do it. Wish me luck...

I played it years ago on PSNow when it was free and I think I beat it twice. But now that it was free on PS Plus it was amazing the remastered version such a masterpiece of a game man. I just beat it on Survivor mode amazing game

You could also use bricks to kill clickers when sneaking up on them, dont use bottles cause they will just break, make sure when you get close enough to clicker, you press the melee button 3 times while the brick is in your hand

Thanks for the tips in the video! I’m gonna start making it a priority to sneak kill the molotov guy first since they are so annoying if the enemy knows where you are and has you pinned down at the moment. I just got done with hard+ and know most of the stuff you said, but you also kind’ve reminded me of being efficient with all the stuff I figured out on my from from just playing the game a bunch. I’m pretty excited to play a new game with no upgrades again, and no listening should be a fun challenge. Definitely gonna sub since The Last of Us 2 is coming out relatively soon and I’m sure you’ll make some very informative and helpful videos on it!

Life hack don’t craft med kits use your resources on molotov cocktails your allies will give you a free med kit when your low and don’t have resources (most of the time)

Hi all can any one help me !!! I passed the game on survivor mode and it opened up survivor + mode that's fine,, my problem is I played the plus mode for about 3 days and I got half way tru the game and I used up my dam shives at the start of the game, so as I was going along the first half of the game I couldn't open up the secret doors becouse I had no shives to open them ,,, I got tru half the game and still no shives now I missed out on 5 yes 5 secret doors that's a lot of stuff, no I made a disition to try and restart the game on plus mode and to hang on to the shives to open the doors i missed and I can't !!! I did try and when I got to the first work bench all my upgrades were not there form the time I passed it on the ordenary survivor ,, can any one help me ?

+mybigdigger1 Had the same problem, only solution is to reload an completed game to start a game+ survivor mode again. After the fireflys attack on your starting area, you can see how much hp you have if its more then a new game then your good. Also at the first chapter there are 2 shivs you can get that will make it very easy for you one is at the docking house on the table second floor just after the part where you used an key on a door. Second one is the last part of the docks its on your left side infront of a countainer on a box. Kinda late response but might help others aswell i hope. :)
