I've been watching you for the better part of a decade, I was excited when you started your own yoyo company. I've been meaning to pick up an Outlier but I hit a plateau and yoyo became stagnant. For whatever reason I've picked it back up again, been learning a bunch of new tricks and buying yoyos again. I took your advice from the vid and snagged the purple outlier+ with deviant+ and im incredibly excited to finally try your yoyos!

Good job! Love your yo yo designs and colors. I just rediscovered my yo yo addiction this past week. As a kid I had a professional glow in the dark Duncan responsive that I could do pretty good with. I learned all the tricks of the time and loved it but never took it far. Was just good at showing off for my family and buddies. Well I am 50 now. Wow it's hard to say that. I got a $12 aluminum yo yo last week. It came unresponsive and I wound it up tossed it down and couldn't understand why I couldn't get it to come back up. Like I say last Involvement with a yo yo I was around 10. Anyway a quick KZbin search and I learned about unresponsive yoyos and responsive. So I learned to bind from a few videos one being yours and can bind within a few minutes. I practiced a few things where a simple throw and over the finger and land on the string then back down bind and recover it. For giggles I put the flat responsive bearing in and immediately began busting out all my old tricks. I couldn't believe it I could still do everything. A bit rusty but can do them. However after the hour or so prior with unresponsive I was already hooked on that. So I converted the yoyo back. And played some more. I noticed this yoyo (a cheapo) was vibrating alot. So I watched a few tuning videos and I got it better but it's still very bad vibes. I cut some small squares of electrical tape and was able to get it balanced a bit. Running much smoother for sure. So I been having fun all week trying to get my bind perfected but struggling with a tail loop that keeps winding into the retrieve. But it's timing or speed as sometimes I nail it perfect. Either way it fun. I keep coming across your videos and I have watched a lot. I have decided I want to go ahead and get I think a cheat code plastic as a start and work my way from there. Unfortunately I am after the black Friday deals. Do you have any other sales during the year? Or just the combo yoyo buys on BF? Kinda want to do a combo with a nice professional bi metal and a beginner yoyo. So like I ask do you run any sales throughout the year with combos? Thanks and keep the videos coming! I am in no rush so can wait a bit for a deal. I did just get 2 Magic yoyo Crystal k2p off Amazon at a really great buy. So I will be at these up for a bit until I step up to yours. Jason

I really look forward to trying an outlier+. I am glad you are keeping them on the market. Definetly on my short list of things to try. I'm just not good enough to gain anything from a wider yoyo. Unless it is the size of a plastic cheat code. I'd love to see one of those bimetal, 7075/steel. 75 grams sounds like a good weight for the size.

you can compete with literally anything you want, competitions are all about tricks. you can have a titanium yo-yo and have low trick density and mess up a lot, or you can be like Brandon and Gentry and win comps with plastic throws. it's all up to the player
