I love how he emphasized how people dont remember what it's like to start yoyoing. And that mindset isn't limited to just beginner throwers, I remember being so frustrated with intermediate tutorials not explaining stuff and people literally just say get good you'll get used to it. Cuz to them it was painfully obvious, but to someone seeing elements for the first time there's a lot of slight of hand stuff that goes unnoticed. That's why I always go in painful detail in my tutorials cuz ik that if I don't cuz I think it's too obvious, theres someone out there that won't think of it as such.

tbh i live in EU its really hard to get any (famous) yoyos and recently i moved to the Netherlands (i have access to amazon) and got a magicyoyo k2(p) to start learning but other than that i cant found anything unless i pay double for USA i wanted to get a DNA but that has to wait and im trying to learn the trapeze or even a normal bind with a unresponsive slowly and steady but yea its difficult to get any (best yoyo for beginner/pro etc) im not even gonna talk about replacements like bearings and strings (basically what amazon or aliexpress has) personally ill recommend the magic yoyo k2 as starting since i dont know or have anything else. :D keep making videos

I started yo-yoing in 2004, back then I had a Duncan Freehand Zero. You could buy upgrade kits such as rim attachments. You could upgrade the response system with carbon fiber friction stickers. Then upgrading the bearing was a must. It was a fun time.
