YEEEEEEEEESSSS the moment we’ve been waiting for........... something was placed on a bench. Oh it was Charlie’s POS Hobo stove. Meanwhile the unobtanium CR80 side panel is chucked immediately on the garage floor ready to be stepped on. You couldn’t make this stuff up. Comedy gold

You guys really are in love with that garage floor! Work bench? Do you guys ever go riding? Like in the woods or on a track ever? What happened to those awesome gloves you were promoting? Mixture of boiled lindseed oil n mineral spirits does same on plactics! Probably cheaper

@@AcousticNRG especially working on carburetors n new bearings etc, i think they just try n make a quick easy buck, flipping bikes. I know I'd never buy one off of them! They think if it starts its "perfect". He uses that word often! More of a comedy than anything else, maybe just me?

Thanks for putting your time in this videos. I know it's something you enjoy doing, but appreciate it any way. Nice to see your positive vibes even when you buy a piece of junk. Nice to see more interactions with Charlie in the video, you guys are sCOOLter brothers!

Charlie, Big props to you for using the off time that a lot of us are experiencing to mess around with building your own things. The ability to concept, design and fabricate something, either from your own thoughts or existing ideas/parts, is something that can really take you somewhere in life. Principles can be applied to almost anything, especially when it comes to working on older motorcycles with limited part availability. Keep at it and the more you learn and research about whatever it is you're working on, the more your mechanic/engineering mind will grow. You will learn the most from failures, just make sure to stick with it and diagnose what the failure was, from there you grow knowledge. Really like the mix up of getting to see your project/paint can pot boiler and home grown oven. Cool to see you just building things for fun man. For this, I give you the first ever 10 🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭 rating on your part of the video for the official Oscar Meyer Wiener Scale

I sold my 1986 cr80.. it was my first bike when I was a kid. I sold it 2 years ago for 300$ with the head blown.. I definitely should've kept that bike. Wow 700 just for the plastics. Damn I miss that bike.
@wyattcarey86894 жыл бұрын
I have the same bike it sat apart outside as a frame, swing arm, suspension, bars and a front fender just finished doing a restoration on it the motor was blown so I went through both top and bottom end, got everything rust treated like the upper and lower fork tubes/linkage and shock frame and triple clamp powedercoated the originginal red color, restored the gas take rear fender, side panels, shroud ect. To brand new, got the seat reupholstered with a stock seat cover, the bike is finished now, just as a little memento I left it with no front number plate (It didn't have it when i got it from behind my uncle's shed) and put the original pinkish orange colored front fender from the sun back on it, I'm 14 and that was my first rebuild. It amazes me how these vintage bikes perform for their age it keeps up with all the modern bikes on the track. Just takes more slipping the clutch through the turns and pinning the crap out of it
