Some people speak of character in renovation projects almost as if that’s just an excuse for imperfections. IMO Perfection is often sterile and boring. Not my thing. After working on my parents’ kitchen for 6 weeks with loud power tools (nail gun, sander, miter saw, etc.) my doctor told me my eardrums had scarring on them and asked if I had been exposed to prolonged loud noises. Please protect your ears! Project looks amazing! Progress is impressive!

Very nice job Maya. I like very much that you found a way to finish the wall to ceiling joint without a moldings. Very architectural! I thought you would hang a ceiling fan as an air circulator. That would feel so good during the hot days of summer. But I understand that visually, they are "dated". I was coming from the perspective of a electrical energy efficient way to move air in the old stone buildings. 😊 I'm so glad the second coat of glaze toned down the 'pink' to your satisfaction.

A few more coats on the ceiling and walls for the colors to blend in completely. What a difference: brighter, warmer, roomier. In time with an induction wall unit heat pump cooler on the very hot days with auxiliary heat on cooler ones.

I recently made a 3m square shed, and insulated and cladded using the same sort of cladding, yes its a struggle to get those long boards up, but luckily my roof was only 7 foot high so I could reach standing on the ground.

Hi good job on that celling!. Also if you wanted to turn that light off from your bed check out quinetick light swich ( i think its called ),you put a reciever in the light housing in the ceiling part and put the new switch near the bed for example no wires to run,just program the new switch then job done.

I wanted to possibly give you a clue, if your air nail gun is like mine,,,,the place where the air comes out is changeable! I am hoping yours can also be redirected away from blowing air in your face, give it a twist and see if you can direct the air towards the front where it is not blowing dust in your eyes. You probably know this, but if you didnt: with the Japanese saw the side with the most teeth is for across the wood grain. The one with less for along the grain. Same rule applies for table saw blades. Oh and with your miter saw: that are not the same blades as table saw blades. Anyway, nice vid!
