The Last Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus Train on FEC - Part 1

On January 14, Feld Entertainment announced that Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus will cease to perform effective May of this year. As a consequence, the circus trains, which have traveled the country for so many years will go with it. I took the opportunity to railfan the FEC doing their best (as you will see in Part 2) to prepare what would be the last ever outbound run of the Circus Train. This video contains footage from the rarely filmed Medley Lead and the Commerce Park Industrial spurs in Miami, FL, by Florida East Coast Railway's Hialeah Yard. All of the work, thus far, was done with FEC SD40-2 #714.

I've seen them a number of times in Texas and again in utah. Back when they had their own locomotives. At one time, their mile long train was the longest in the USA

@@aloneinhardeeville Actually it was NON partisan PETA crap that forced The circus to lose its Main Act and crowd pleaser ...The ELEPHANTS which maintained Ringling And Barnum &Bailey were abusing them. Without the elephant acts the people stopped attending and they started losing money. So, it was PETA who solely caused the end of the "Greatest Show on Earth". Useless mofos. Now they got folks becoming "sympathetic Vegans" against the Beef Cattle, Pork and Dairy industries. You know, those gullible ignoramuses who buy into every conspiracy out there.🙄PETA also "euthanized" thousands of animals in THEIR "shelter" as "mercy killings" They just a bunch of kook pot activists.
