It is funny, as an English only language American, i just loved the exaggerated Irish accent she added to her singing. And here is part of why. It brought me back to childhood again, where my mother was taking care of me, and my biggest concern in life was that i had learned how to use the toilet on my own. I wish i could be more artful than that, but Dolores had that effect, she had power of being maternal.

I grew up in Costa Rica and as a teenager I was obsessed with The Cranberries. Linger was the first song I ever learned how to play on the guitar. I still remember sitting in my bedroom, singing my heart out and thinking 'if only they knew how important they are to me'.

I think they handled the situation very well, they used Dolores vocal's that she had recorded for some demos (with her family's permission) to make a final album and then disbanded the band. I wish them all the luck in the future.

I was born in 1991 and The Cranberries was one of first bands in english that I heard when I was a child. Instantanelly I felt in love with the voice of Dolores. Growing up with their music is the most beautiful treasure. So, when I was 18 or 20 years I realize that Dolores was a wonderful person, I love her songs in defense of the children. That is a topic which the rock bands never use to touch. Thanks Dolores. Your soul lingers on your kids. "They will never make you die" ;,) Grettings from Spain.

It's so sad she passed away so young. But she had such a hard life, like so many of us. It's so sad to, for me. Because I only started to listen to the cranberries when she passed. Now I listen to them on utube. I really like there music. she was so talented. She might not be with us in person, but most certainly in her spirit. It's good they did a last album in honor of Delores. I guarantee you, she is there with them in spirit, and she is well pleased. Thank you all very much for your music, it will live on forever.

There are bands...and then there are bands! The Cranberries were ALWAYS that for me. I grew up in the hearth and the heart of the 90's, and I'd be hard pressed to think of another band from that particular time period that had shaped my life, and that had made such an impression on me, as did the Cranberries! I loved them like a brother and a sister for sure! And their music truly lives on!

It's difficult to imagine how young they were when they first met and formed. Dolores in particular was still a bit shy when she first auditioned for the band. She was given a tape of some guitar chords they had written and she came back a week later with lyrics and a vocal melody what would become the song Linger. An incredible feat for a first effort. And ever lasting memories for us.

No body can imagine a fan who used to leave in Saudi desert might be listing to their music. I remember difculities I went through to buy their Albums back in the 90s I have lived the best times of my life with their music specially To the Faithful Depaurter album. The only song that made me cry was Linger The only Artist/celebrity I cried when they died is Dolores .. I still remember her and feel upset .
