At this point dude, I am speechless. 4 years ago I was so impressed and fascinated by your work, 4 years later I am yet again satisfied. Not only the animation but the lore was incredible, Gaster showing up to help sans just as he was about to die got my hype because I knew what was going to happen next. The difference alternative versions of your OC ganging up on the current one was SO COOL!! and that 4 wall break with KZbin WAS INCREDIBLE!!! But the best part about this animation for me, is seeing how far both of them has come to fight each other, and both of them had the chance to kill each other but they didn’t, but instead excepted their fate. SMX you might be one of the coolest content creators I know, This really inspired me to work on a project I’ve been working on but had no motivation to. You are literally the coolest. You have no idea how much this inspires me. I will be looking forward to future projects :)

In the end, none of the two wanted this. Sans wanted his world back, blinded by the thought that he was replaced and couldn’t move on. Blinded by the thought that it would break the cycle if he won, he killed everyone when given the opportunity to prepare for the last run, gaining more power to stand a chance. And then SMX, he existed to replace Sans, although it was never his decision to do so. In his existence, he neglected everyone and isolated himself, becoming something like a hikikomori. And despite his calm and collected attitude, he was scarred from his fight with Sans, realizing what impact he made on his world as well. And then we have the actual final battle, this animation. Two creations, put together, fighting for dominance, blinded by their motivations to persist and not be replaced, never moving on. And in reality, the true villain of this story if probably Gaster, as he merely restarted the fight and changed it, all for the sake of experimentation. His intentions may or may not be evil in his own mind, but he sure as hell is one of the reasons the needless conflict occurred in the first place. So, how did the two manage to stop all this? By rejecting the situation put onto them by the audience, finally realizing that things have to move on eventually. And by doing this, they stopped Gaster from seeing what result would occur if they didn’t stop. In a way, Gaster is a representation of never moving on, and by simply stopping, the two have overcame him, and in turn, overcame their stubbornness. Well done for a story. My respect is given.

I disagree with Gaster being the villain. Sans was, as said many times, in an INFINITE death loop. If Gaster didn’t “save” him, then Sans would have been stuck in an eternal death loop where not even the end of time could save him, since time would always be rewound when he died. Gaster simply gave him a chance to save himself from eternal torture and, as a bonus, get back at SMX for being an uncaring, arrogant bastard who called Sans “cringe” for hating SMX for destroying everyone and everything he ever knew and loved. Gaster, also, saved Sans from dying again to SMX, which would have likely caused an identical death loop where Sans would be put through the fight again and again forever in the viewers’ hopes that Sans’s quest for LV would win him the fight and give SMX the payback they wanted. Really, and it’s also been said this multiple times, the villains are the people who commented hundreds of time for Sans to get another chance, a way to fight back. Gaster simply, while there for mostly his own interests, wanted to help Sans overcome SMX.

OK, WOW. I thought the original Sans vs SMX was amazing by itself, but you PERSEVERED through to make JUSTICE for both SMX and Sans. (Haha get it? Ok, ok I'll get out now-) Jokes aside, you definitely cookedddddd. This, and all the other parts, is astonishing work and this makes for a perfect, although bittersweet ending for both of them. Both had nothing to fight for with the start of this part so I'm glad they made up in the end. I also did a bit of dabbling after a while of rewatching and noticed some clever details like that LR!Gaster actually spells out "BLASTER" letter by letter in Wingdings most clearly seen at 17:15. In 17:06 posessed Sans summons projectiles that say "I HATE YOU". A few moments later at 17:09 when Sans teleports to SMX there is one single frame that reads "CAN YOU SEE". At 9:47 the Wingdings that continuously flash spell out "SMX" as Gaster summons SMX's past iterations. And most obviously at 7:24 LR!Gaster says "NOT YET". Loved the part (17:15 and onward) where they end up breaking the fourth wall and use the KZbin UI to attack SMX, it kinda reminds me of Alan Becker's "Animation vs. KZbin" so that is a W reference. (Also this and part 3's OST is now stuck in my head... but I ain't complaining, it goes hard)

Typing after seeing whole animation, and god freaking hell I predicted the future of gaster saving sans at the last moment. The animation, the reality and youtube manipulation, Gaster's mastermind play with US. Chara awakening was so fucking predictable, yet I didn't knew that would happen. I love everything, the design of Sans's p3, music and what you can hear the "enigmatic encounter" and especially attacks and the lore. Probably what happened in the end, was Gaster killing both Sans and Smx. Yea that old man for sure will be hanging around on this channel for a while. And the hug of sans and Smx was honestly adorable. The stress from this long fight. I'm absolutely satisfied, even with a fact what sans still lost in the end. 10/10. I was shaking and screaming, the emotions from all three parts were absolutely stunning. I'm glad I was this long on this channel

By the time that I am writing this, the premise of this final chapter to the old era of SMX's channel has completely ended and I just wanted to say that... SMX. You have truly created a wonderful piece of art, a good send off to your channel's history as a whole while allowing Sans and SMX to properly rest from viewer's exception. I won't spoiler the ending of this finale to those who are watching but in summary... It's what I ever wanted. I wanted a good conclusion, a send off between these two characters who were forced to fight through the request of countless others who wanted nothing more then to see their favorite character win in a fight. I wished for SMX and Sans to recieve a good send-off and they did... I am glad that my wishes were well-recieved. The fact that you were able to make the characters somehow aware of the media in our world and exploit the viewers (especially those who hated animation) and use them as the engine of events to reach this epic ending alone blows my mind. I'm genuinely surprised at how captivating the entire story was, and I absolutely love how the further it went, the harder it became to root for one another. At first I was fully expecting Sans to win, and to be honest I kinda wanted him to, despite what he did to get here (Granted I am a massive Dusttale fan, so...). But as I looked into SMX's story, I slowly started rooting for him as well until eventually I was fine with either of them winning. The argument the "comments" made about SMX being overpowered didn't really bother me that much, especially in the sequel episodes. Because despite that, Sans put up a REALLY good fight, even in their very first encounter. And in the end, they were both insanely powerful, so really I didn't mind that SMX was overpowered, because Sans was too in a sense. I mean, have you ever seen Combat Gods? This ENTIRE battle was pretty much just that but with a much deeper story. I was definitely surprised by the ending, because I was completely under the impression that one of them was gonna win, but honestly, this was a perfect way to conclude the fight. Long live SMX & Sans, may they rest in peace, o7.

I'll admit, i did like SMX as a character and his struggle with the deal with the demons, and i liked Sans as well, but by the beginning i knew it was gonna end like this. Like, c'mon, they weren't really fighting for anything even by the beginning of this video. I'm actually quite sorry i won't see more of SMX, i hoped he could grow personality wise after losing his demons suppressing his emotions. Guess i'll just have to patiently wait for the next one. The world is collapsing. Let’s see if they can salvage their lives, even with the emergence of (what appears to be) Shedo. Post-Release Edit: Even if the ending was what some may consider corny, I loved it. As Sans said, ‘the only winning move is not to play.’ And the fact that Gaster’s actions could be perceived as both against either side and helping either side. Whether or not his intentions were truly to kill SMX or something grander, he abused Sans’ body to do it and effectively caused it to break down. However, at the same time, he might’ve even been going for the ending where both sides reconcile and decide that their end was long overdue. Hard to tell with his abrupt disappearance after the final mental attack.

the ending i was expecting the least to happen. this is without a doubt one of the best undertale animations i have seen in my life. ulb was the first AU that got me into this community and i am incredibly grateful for it. getting to see this was a surreal and amazing experience and its truly been wonderful to see how far you've come. im looking forward to what your going to create next and i know itll be just as good as this if not better. this isn't the ending...its an all new beginning. see you next time

not many words can sum up how well made this was. between the story line, the battles themselves with how good they are (especially bringing back the undertale styled fighting like in the first smx vs sans fight), and the ending, this as leagues better than i expected when going into this. my favorite part had to be the ending and the whole undertale styled battle, especially with the youtube 4th wallbreak thing. I love how you also utilized comments to progress the story, never seen that before either. Amazing work, this was AMAZING!

Welp, at this point I don't even know how will this end up. Will Sans win and finally get his "new world?", or will SMX win and secure his world one last time? Or... will they both have a happy ending..?

This was the best possible outcome and I'm glad it ended this way rather than having sans or smx winning, because then people would never be satisfied and continue to pressure the creator for another ending. Smart way to end it off smx. Very cleaver indeed. Look forward to your future work, because it's been one hell of a ride, and I'll be damned if I didn't stick around just because this little mini-series ended. I'm here all the way.

In terms of LR!Smx Elemental Wise he had Electricity which shocks, fire that burns and Ice that freezes For The Bone Colors: White = Normal(Probably Weakend) Orange = Move Through (Think of a orange stoplight in place of Green) Blue = Don't Move. (Think of that Blue Stop Sign) Purple = Stronger than normal, probably deals more KR or DMG Yellow = works as ricochet, will come back if it misses once or deals Electricity dmg

Im adding on to this and no one can stop me Red- High extra damage or instakill Green- Heals, but is normally rarely used Dark- Invisible but weakened damage/KR

I feel it woukd be better fitting if sans won. SMX had basically already gave up and even erased himself from the timeline so hed have nothing to go back to. Sans earned his win by being forced to kill everyone he loved.

@superabdoking5372 I know it's over. Both of them became buddies and went on to that white void. I wanted sans to win. Not because he's my favorite character or any reason like that. But because he at this point earned it and him winning would be extremely good narratively given everything he's gone through and him already suffering enough. If he didn't win and if SMX had won it would've just been a rehash of last time they fought except thus time sans is still stuck in a loop even after he tried everything to win which is extremely unsatisfying to see when you see everything sans had gone thru only to lose, meanwhile SMX had literally given up already so him winning is stupid as at this point he has nothing to go back to.

Commented on this 5 days ago, as of now I just finished it and holy crap, instead of one final epic battle smx (the original comment said and and sans, autocorrect got me lol) and sans become buddy pals and ride off into the sunset…or void I guess, made me change how I view overpowered characters, you’re my new favorite animator for this smx 🗣️
