I was playing with some puffy stickers just this last Christmas with my grandson and I was having a ball. We were sitting at the table and I don’t know how long it had been but when I looked up I noticed his chair was empty and I was still enjoying the stickers ha ha ha. Never too old to have some fun.

Because clear glass is so abundant in thrift stores. I’ve started buying pressed or cut glass jars with lids to put my tea, coffee pods, and protein powder in them because they sit on the counter. In my very small kitchen

For strawberries - something to try. Get a piece of pvc pipe and cut to the size of the strawberry pot. Drill holes about every inch along the pipe. Cover the bottom of the pipe with duct tape. Stand in pot, fill pot with soil, and plant your strawberries. Water only in the pipe. The water will filter out of the pipe and water the roots. I hope that makes sense. It was easier in my head than typing it out!

I’m in California and I tried strawberries as well. They should grow here but I can’t seem to do it so instead of strawberries in my pot that looked very similar to that one I planted succulents. Total success! Gotta love succulents😂🤣No green thumb needed😊

strawberries don't like extreme heat or sun, so I would imagine in Vegas the best time to grow them would be fall to spring. they need 6-8 hours of sun, but avoid the hot afternoon sun and make sure you mulch heavily so they don't dry out, but don't let their feet stay too wet either. they also like slightly acidic soil and fertilize with tomato fertilizer every 8 weeks. :)

That large high gloss wooden thing a ma bob....is for storing wine. When it's sitting up properly and the insert with the holes swings out...the bottles go in and then swings back in. I could be wrong......but sure seems to be the case..............Loved your comment re the "big chip" about the chip and dip plate..... Your bird is wonderful.

Strawberries: plant in the fall and get Strawberry sets (rooted plants) not bear root plants. You'll have better luck. Also need perhaps a raised bed with mulch to keep them safe in the winter. Not in Las Vegas, but I'm sure if you plant in the fall, you'll have better results.

Might I suggest a greenhouse for growing your own produce. A lot of produce might prove difficult to grow in your climate. I grow my own produce here in Vermont, and it is rewarding and satisfying to do so. Good luck!! 😊

Strawberries are fickle to get started. Then boom. It's all about the soil with them. My best production has come from starting them in compost. But you have to ppl provide them with some shade when it's really hot out.
