Re replacing your sectional: Years ago I found a pic of a living room in a magazine that I liked. There were four comfy chairs with a large coffee table in the center-a lovely conversation/reading area. In 2016 I was in Israel, touring Ben Gurion’s home in the Negev. Would you believe that was the arrangement in his living room! He also had 20K of his favorite books in his office. It was as he left it. There was a stack of books on a chair next to his desk. The book on the top of the pile was “The Late Great Planet Earth” by Hal Lindsay!

Re Wenda 89: Growing up, we had one of those oval tin containers. We used it as a letter holder. Ours didn’t have a lid.

I love Rothenthal too! I bid and won a large vase on an auction site, but when I got it home, it had a crack that was repaired🥺...nothing in the listing noted that 😢 it's still a nice piece, but probably can't resell it...live and learn 😂 congratulations on your awesome finds!!

There are times when I watch the estate sales it makes me sad😢 I think about the people who owned all these items, their life’s, their independence; where are they now? Passed on, in a rest home or hopefully with loved ones. Lives passed and they couldn’t take Thierry life items with them but if they are in heaven they don’t look back or care!🥲
