Ive been playing a lot of Smite 2 and I also came back to your channel because of the Smite 2 duel videos. I think its a great idea for you to try to teach people about everything Smite 2 has to offer seeing as you rode with Smite 1 up until this point, longer than most of the other big Smite creators that already moved on. You got Novelty def reversed, a novelty is something new and exciting, like Smite 2's early patches were novel and they quickly lost players. Smite would be like a staple, classic and an original. Hopefully the full release of S2 doesn't follow the trend that of those early beta's on the full release, but Hi-rez is a pretty mid company, they dropped 20k+ overall players on pc after the Smite 2 announcement this last year. Praying that Smite 2 pops off so you and the other creators can keep your livelihood, even if I disagree with Hi-rez's practices.

I am personally more excited about guides than memes because it gives a good analasis of specific match-ups, while I don't personally play 1v1 it is a thing that does matter in every single gamemode. Wether you are solo, mid, duo or in any other gamemode such as assault or arena and you have to know your oponents strenghts and weaknesses (not to mention your own). As for duel I like when it's an actual competetive/educational vid rather than just a "noobstomp" or "meme".

Closing the servers for Smite 1 might be more affected by the licensed skins than by player counts. There might be contractual obligations to keep those skins available for purchase for a length of time

I’m really excited for smite 2 having played it for a few days now I can say it feels a looooot better then it originally did the changes feel like the devs are having fun and are creating ways for us to have more fun too. Arena is absolute mayhem right now I’ve seen some crazy greedy builds and got a penta with auto attack bacchus I feel like if your goal is to have fun in a game and really be creative smite 2 is leaps and bounds ahead in terms of foundation then smite 1 ever was.

To be conpletly honest, I was one of those people that didn't like Smite 2. I was not very sure about the state of the game at that moment, but I saw how much effort they are putting in the game and I changed my mind about Smite 2. Most of the times, all it takes is a second chance.

I love your decision to go the coaching route when Smite 2 drops and I respect you for sticking with Smite 2 content instead of moving to a different game.HiRez has made a lot of bad decisions with this roll out that has cost their content creators. Provided that Smite 2 succeeds (and i hope it does), i can imagine a situation similar to to WoW and Classic servers, or Guild Wars 1 still being alive despite 99% of players playing GW2. In this case new Smite 2 players might sometimes want to try out the "classic Smite", so in this case it might even be semi-profitable for a very long time, especially when there are no more "real" updates, new skins etc.

Played Smite 2 again yesterday and it is in a pretty decent spot. The jungle and map are a little confusing and a lot to take in but manageable with some practice. The largest issue I faced was the match making which I understand because the population is so low but the skill gap is rough to play through. Edit: My god He Bo 2 is a stupid ability. Especially on the dual map.

I was really excited for smite 2 until about 3 or 4 updates in to the alpha. I found myself enjoying it less and less each time I played. I think the issue for a lot of people is they don't like change. If you like a game why play something else, right? That includes me. I can't bring myself to play smite 2. That said. I personally think it will be good for your channel. It will be loaded with fresh content that isn't too far from what we are used to. Showcasing the many gods different abilities, how they've changed, and new gods to come. I might even consider playing it if I enjoy enough of what I see. Just not sure about the learning curve.

I have a low opinion of Smite 2 because every time they promise a timely change (e.g. joust and duel) it doesn't happen. Hasn't there been two or three different promised dates already, and there's no info on the site suggesting a definite date. I bought it for early access to joust, which was promised, so the fact it's not out until the game is free is a bit of a slap in the face because I could have saved my money.

The actual reasons I don't like smite 2 are that #1. The feel of the game isn't yet the same as smite 1 nor better than smite 1 and #2. I work and don't have enough time to learn the game, items, etc... By playing and content creators haven't been making educational content for smite 2. Just gameplay, men's and reactions to content. I'm really glad you're making educational content, I'll ride with you my dude 😎

You're in a very tough position as a not only a content creator that is between platforms (Smite 1/2) but also as the innovator for the duel meta. That Chiron was amazing, but people aren't as interested in Smite 1 with the ftp release of 2 right around the corner. In the same vein, many people aren't as interested in Smite 2 because it isn't free to play yet.

Smite 2 transition should be fine. It’s just better. Items with actives will make the game more entertaining to watch and give you more crazy build opportunities and there will only be more moving forwards. Plus the game just looks nicer
