In 97 they were extremely hot and they didn’t have the courage to follow through with the original plan to put the belt cleanly on STING. If they would’ve followed through their success would’ve followed through also. They shot themselves in the foot because they had no courage to tell Hulk Hogan. Not to mention all the terrible “laying down“ junk WCW did. I’m not talking about the famous one with Hogan and Jarrett, i’m talking about all the others. How many times did y’all do that? Three or four including the infamous one? Be honest, I remember several times it happened. Wrestlers would go out there lay down in the middle of the ring and tell the other guy to pin them. Sting did it to somebody, and somebody did it to Sting. This went on and on. You crapped all over the business and all over the fans and that’s why you had 600,000 in 97 and a mere 50,000 in 2000 people who cared about your product. And I really like Eric Bischoff and I loved WCW. These are just facts.
