Surely the USA has to address this problem of their Judiciary having the freedom to blatantly show political biases in cases tried in their Courts. However refined the general body of law may be, it completely undermines the basic concept of equitable justice in the States, if the application of the law is subject to the political views of the Judge.

It will take a saner atmosphere than the one that currently exists to get Congress to pass a law that subjects SCOTUS to the same rules as other federal judges. Republicans have no interest in limiting the powers of the conservative justices. They worked too hard for 30 years to create that group for their own benefit.

On the birth control issue, with abortion now largely illegal, access to contraception is more important now than before the stupid SCOTUS Dobbs decision. Bottom line, the internet will make it possible for many folks to access contraception anyway.

The intent of taking away access to both contraception and abortion is to exert complete control over women's lives. The next thing after contraceptions will be a woman's right not to be fired from her job if she becomes pregnant. Then they will try to appeal the amendment that gave us the right to vote. That one's going to be harder for them, since they would have to pass another amendment to do so. That won't happen. They want to go back to the 1800's when women had no authority and was the property of first her father and then her husband. She didn't even have the authority to control the lives of her children if her husband died. Another benefit for them will be the increased number of American born babies that will be available in 18 years ready to either become canon fodder or to become wage slaves to corporations. That's why they are fighting so hard against unions.

Exactly! The EXTREME COURT can't stop BC any more than they can stop the rain. A thriving underground mkt with vehicles crossing state lines will deliver BC from places that do have it to those that don't. There is no stopping that! Simple, not to mention plain old mail order.

The Supreme Court has lost the confidence of the American people, including myself. Simple questions any American can answer "complete immunity for the President" - Nixon didn't have it, Trump doesn't have it, if the Court says he does they need to read the constitution that they are their to uphold. Recusal by at least two judges in any Trump cases is absolute, any child can see this.
