I find it amazing that even years after his death he is still referred to as "tragic" Gerry Ryan. Gerry Ryans death was tragic becuase he was an addict................just like every other addict. But i find it so fucking annoying that the same press who refer to Gerry Ryan/Amy Winehouse etc as tragic will have refer to working class people who died from an overdose and not refer to it a tragic and normally follow it up with their criminal background

A Sad loss, what he did in his personal life is his own business,no one elses. His supposed friends writing about his habit in the papers are a disgrace and the toe rag tabloid journalists are even worse.Papers should bring in random drug testing, how many of these holier then thou journalists would pass the teasts. Not many. My thoughts are with his family R.I.P. Gerry

Some people really should keep their opinions to themselves - I wasn't gerry's number one fan by any stretch of the imagination and I don't support drug dealers in any manner, however, the man died in tragic circumstances and like it or not he was an icon in this country - I think he should be let rest in peace now - enough is enough......................................................
