Apparently it's called "good news" because the Old Testament is done? Because God behaved so poorly back then, but it was because God was playing by man's rules as opposed to now? Where does this guy get this nonsense?

Why don't you read these quotes you fool. The killing of gay people Leviticus 20.13. Killing women who are not virgins before marriage Deuteronomy 22.21. Killing children who disobey parents Leviticus 20.9 .Killing people who work the sabbath Exodus 21.15. Sanctioning of slavery Lev. 5.44-46,Exodus 21.2-6, Luke 1247-48. Etc, etc ,etc. It is a good thing that your sky fairy does not exist. I think that you need to grow up and ask questions of the silly people who are spewing this ridiculous nonsense to you.

When you say god you assume that everyone thinks the god of that horrible book is the only god there is. There are almost 60 other gods named in that stupid book alone. Also do not forget about the thousands of other gods.

uh... They absolutely knew they were writing scriptures. Peter mentions it. Furthermore, The entire book of Hebrews is pretty much dedicated to explaining the Old Testament and how Jesus was that fulfillment. Didn't appear the New Testament writers did anything to distance themselves from the Old Testament. They quoted it all the time. This guy is a joke and should have any pastoral license or whatever he has revoked immediately.
