The Chanel 19 is, in my opinion, Chanel's best bag. The Classic flaps will, of course, be no. 1 in terms of heritage and its beauty but the 19 is not only beautiful but very practical which is what one needs if you actually want to use the bag. It's puffiness makes it more roomy, it has a quiet and unusual chain and you can wear it crossbody which one cannot do with the classic flaps. It has come out in so many different colours and fabric combinations that it seems to be here for the longterm.

It seems like not as many people know, but Coach was actually founded in 1941 -- earlier than Dior, Valentino, Celine, Saint Laurent, and many other luxury brands. Maybe it's being overly pedantic, but I personally wouldn't consider it a contemporary brand like Tory Burch and Kate Spade, although with its price point and targeted audience I get why it's often lumped together. I think their quality (of non-outlet bags) is a testament to the longevity of the brand!

One of my friends just got the Balanciego Hourglass bag in red. The size is medium and it can fit all the essentials and a little more. It has a unique shape and looks feminine. I like the look of Channel 19 and Channel mini with a top handle looks amazing. Great video as always.

The Dior Caro is not all made of patent leather. The patent leather one is sure a bit much, and I totally see what you mean by they could use smaller logo. But the supple calfskin versions are not that loud in real life. You might really like the nude one with gold hardware haha 😂

Fortunately no right or wrong answers here since it's just personal preference 😊Personally, I don't love the Bobby or the Caro for the exact reasons you said. I've seen them in person, and it didn't win me over enough to pay the luxury price tag when I have a few other pieces on my wish list. I still love my 19! I think you should go for it if a color or tweed comes along that you love! Thanks for sharing! ❤️

I managed to try the Chanel 19 in the store that day. Strap is a bit longer for me but crossbody is fine. Will be in my wish list for this year or next year after my Classic small which i am waiting for it. Chanel 19 is the very practical handbag of all their range but just have to be careful of the lambskin. If they would have come out with the goat skin again, that would be better and i will jump on it. Light beige is my favorite if i were to get it. As for LV by the pool, is really beautiful too. See if i can get my hands on it. Thanks for sharing.

I was soooo happy I managed to get the exact same empreinte bag! I looked over and over for it and couldn’t get ahold of it... My bestie has the best S.A.... who is now my S.A. And she managed to get ahold of it! Also the double zipped pochette in black is amazing in person... my friend also bought that one and the backpack! Chanel 19 is my fav in my collection. Since I'm also not a billionaire, my luxury shopping is not very diverse, I'm exclusive to Chanel and I wear 19 more than my classic. It is beautiful to look at buuut also SO functional which the classic is not. I hope it becomes a classic and in 2 years is closer to the classic pricing :p

The Bobby is really hard to get in and out of cos of the way the bag “comes in” from the side. The Caro is much easier. It’s also great in the double pouch option which is much cheaper but a great size. Same as the Saddle in the double pouch version. The Lady Dior Pouch is so often overlooked. It’s a great WOC option cos the size, style and weight looks more like a handbag and a clutch than a WOC.

I actually think that the higher end contemporary brands have been doing better, especially the British brands, such as Aspinal, Strathberry and Mulberry. If we assume that Hermès bags are the best, I always look at Coach and Hermès as equals in terms of quality. Coach is a top luxury brand without the exorbitant price tag. 🤍
