Glad this show is back on : ) after a busy stressful summer I now have something to look forward to and enjoy :) I used to watch strictly like I would watch WWE - a guilty pleasure lol. But now it is just pleasure :) this is one of the highlights of the year (I wouldn't watch anything else on TV regularly I make an exception with this case) :) this show gets better every year and I am glad to see the familiar faces return :) it's an extravaganza with beautiful set pieces, music and beautiful people, my Saturday evenings will be reserved over Autumn/Winter :) god bless you all, have a good day reader :)

Absolutely amazing, I have no words to describe how fantastic that performance was. My husband was laughing at me after I watched this on my iPad with headphones on as apparently I was holding myself tight but kind of dancing along to something, when I told him it was the strictly professionals opening number he was laughing saying “ so it’s a few weeks of you dancing around the house then “ 😂 true tho.

I just read that the peformances they do at the beginning, they film them way back in the summertime before the show is shown and Giovanni was on tour with Anton and injured his ankle that's why he isn't in the opening dance performances this year

Not that I side with anyone cos it's none of my business and no one knows exactly what happened in the training rooms apart from the ones who were in there, I just think Giovanni has outgrown the show he just does not bring anything to strictly anymore like Amy, Kai, Gorka, Dianne, Johannes, Nadiya, Nancy etc
