Man I had one and upgraded to the 61. The connection with Ableton is awesome. Now I have the FL37 and it helped me understand FL better. Integration and workflow is always good. One thing I’ve learned from you is to create templates to even help for future projects.

I have the 61 key version. Mk3 was a big improvement ergonomically. With a better key bed this unit would be unbeatable with the ableton coupling.

I recently purchased a Komplete Kontrol A61 because Native Instruments include accessibility for the blind. Basically when I adjust a parameter or select a patch, it will talk to me and tell me everything that's going on. This is why I think NKS support is really important. Now with Live 12's screen reader support, I can use the same tools as some of my favorite producers. I believe the A61 also has the ability to control Live from the keyboard, but I'm not too sure. I'm still learning about what all it can do.

ok, watching you on Launchkey 37 made me want one. I use Ableton Note on my Ipad,and because I already have the 61 key, it was a no brainer for me to buy the 37 yesterday. I use the 61 key for my computer, and the 37 key for my ipad. I have no regrets!!

I think a lot of it has to do with having the limitation of only 3 octaves to work with. Of course you could transpose the keyboard up or down but when you're on the spot just coming up with ideas, that's usually an afterthought.

Understood! For me, it's a natural workflow to just hit the button and not even think about it. Travel, Control and Decent (not ideal at all btw) Keys are solid!

Review the Launchkey 37 for us in more detail. I have it and I don't use it how you use it. I actually use it in the session mode I think, or maybe its clip mode. whatever it is, its the other mode and not the one you are currently using. To me, the mode you are using seems more efficient.
