I know Saturday night live was so amazing and funny the first twenty years. These skits were so good. Still say some of the things from some them. And laugh. They lost their creativity and innocence and they write to hurt people or belittle them now. That’s not what it was founded on or was when started.

First time I watched this skit from the very first season and I love it already. Thanks so much for sharing this. As John Belushi and Gilda Radner demonstrate here, silence does speak volumes and they express themselves beautifully and make me laugh at the same time with their characters' unspoken passion for each other. I'd like to see two of today's cast members perform this classic sketch (preferably set in the 1970s when this sketch first aired) not only to honor the memories of John Belushi and Gilda Radner, but to honor SNL's history and legacy.

Lauren210 Mendocino County is huge and Fort Bragg, which is on the coast, is hampered by its remoteness. There’s only one town that has a population in the tens of thousands and it’s more than an hour away on a winding two-lane road, so no one’s going to pay $3.85/gallon for gas to save a buck or two on their laundry.

@@annhalton1963 Hi, Ann. Given current times, I wasn't sure if you were being serious or if that was sarcasm. Having grown up in the 70s and 80s, I get the humor angle.
