In today's gospel Jesus says very clearly that he has come to fulfill the law,he wants the people to understand the spirit of the law which helps us to love our neighbour just as Jesus loved us and gave His life for us.There is no greater law than this law.Let us ask Jesus to help us to fulfill this law of love.Thank you, Father for your teaching.God bless.

It's a great joy to refresh these teachings that brings back memories from the covid days ...some truly joyous ones of days spent at home with family listening to these services and teachings . Thank you for this revival link Fr.it helps u as it helps us even more . True we need to send this link to those who need to hear about these aspects of leaving the church for petty excuses as such . This awareness to not HAVE To SPEND on occasions as a tradition is very reassuring especially for everyone so we don't give into such pressures and not look down on those who prefer not to . Look forward to the refresher links .it's a bonus spiritual food and we just can't have enough. We become what we feed on .So this helps so much . Thank You Fr🙌

Dear Fr Warner we love listening to your teachings, the longer the better. We are never aware or conscious of the time you spend teaching us. Today's reading is so beautifully explained about the law and tradition. We are so caught up with tradition that we have tied ourselves in knots, not knowing what is true and acceptable. We owe you a debt of gratitude for opening our eyes and minds to the eternal beauty of the Gospel. God bless you and keep you and your family in good health🙏🙏

We have fallen so much more in love with God's Word because of you. Pray we be true representatives of Him. God bless you abundantly as you touch so many lives. I heard your homily during two of the Masses from the Bombay Archdiocese and was pleasantly surprised that a Catholic priest actually asked us to look into our Bibles. We were not encouraged to read the Bible in our youth. In fact I remember being told that if I attend daily mass there was no need to read the Bible. Unfortunately most of my knowledge in scriptures has been through non Catholic preachers like Bro. Zac Poonen and sermons by Charles Spurgeon. Last year, I almost defected to Zac Poonen's church. But after hearing. Dr. Hans Scott, and of course my own inner self I stayed on as a Catholic. Now my biggest problem is praying to Our Lady. I find that very difficult.

@Hazel D'Almeida True, with me also, most of the knowledge of the scripture and it's exegesis is from non Catholic Christian preachers. I also have problem praying TO Mary and other saints, I understand the doctrine of venerating, honouring and devotion, I have no problem with church art, painting, pictures, statues etc, but PRAYING to these STATUES with devotion, honour and veneration is huge problem, actually abomination, leave alone the other pressing issues in the church like celibacy being cause of pedophilia, numerous sex scandals, I have witnessed these issues even way back 60s as a altar server. Pope's idea of same-sex civil union, Cases like Franco, sexual killings in Kerala, sex scandal in Mangalore, unearthing of 215 dead bodies of kids in Canada, all these issues are to be reformed once for all by the catholi universal church of God, and not shoved under the carpet. Scripture has sufficient examples for correcting fallen people even David who is called "A man of God's own heart" committed adultery and murder and Nathan corrected him. Please Reform the Catholic church, go back to the fundamentals rather than ritualistic practises. God bless all those reading this.

Are the laws of Moses still in effect or not? You decide… Are the laws of Moses still in effect or not? Let’s look through some scriptures and see what it says about this. Hebrews 8:3 says that every high priest is ordained by God to offer gifts and sacrifices. So if this is true, we can ask the next relevant question to get us closer to the answer. Were there high priest after the death and ascension of christ until the destruction of the temple? History shows us that there were 17 high priest that served up until the destruction of the temple in 70 AD. The next logical question that I would ask would go as follows. Who is responsible for ordaining the high priest for the temple of God? According to Romans 13:1-6, God is responsible for ordaining all high priest that minister in his temple. So according to the bible, all 17 high priest were ordained by God to offer gifts and sacrifices in his temple. Also Romans 8:2 says,” Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.” If the laws of Moses are done away with, then why are people receiving damnation for not subjecting themselves to the ministers of God? Is the laws of Moses truly done away with or are they still in effect? While you’re contemplating your answer, please take the time to read the verses below. Shalom… #ReturnToTorah Hebrews 8:3 King James Version (KJV) 3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. Romans 13:1-6 King James Version (KJV) 13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Numbers 31:41 King James Version (KJV) 41 And Moses gave the tribute, which was the Lord'S heave offering, unto Eleazar the priest, as the Lord commanded Moses. James 1:13 Contemporary English Version (CEV) 13 Don’t blame God when you are tempted! God cannot be tempted by evil, and he doesn’t use evil to tempt others. List of all High priest that served after the crucifixion of Jesus until the destruction of the temple in 70 AD * Joseph Caiaphas (18-36) * Jonathan ben Ananus (36-37) * Theophilus ben Ananus (37-41) * Simon Cantatheras ben Boethus (41-43) * Matthias ben Ananus (43) * Elioneus ben Simon Cantatheras (43-44) * Jonathan ben Ananus (44) * Josephus ben Camydus (44-46) * Ananias ben Nebedeus (46-58) * Jonathan (58) * Ishmael ben Fabus (58-62) * Joseph Cabi ben Simon (62-63) * Ananus ben Ananus (63) * Joshua ben Damneus (63) * Joshua ben Gamaliel (63-64) * Mattathias ben Theophilus (65-66) * Phannias ben Samuel (67-70) Seven questions to ask to test this word If you answer yes to all of these questions, and can provide the verses to support it, then the laws of Moses are still in effect. If you answer no to any of these questions, and can provide the scriptures to support it, then the laws are done away with. You decide… 1. Is it true that God ordains all temple high priest including Jesus our high priest? Please provide scriptures if you disagree. 2. Is it true that God appoints all rulers on earth, past, present, and future? Please provide scriptures if you disagree. 3. Is it true that there were high priest in Gods temple all the way up to its destruction in 70 AD? Please provide scriptures if you disagree. 4. Is it true that God does not tempt people with acts of sin like ordaining them to positions that are blasphemous to him like sacrificing animals on the altar in his temple? Please provide scriptures if you disagree. 5. Is it true that the 17 high priest that ruled before the temples destruction were ordained by God? Please provide scriptures if you disagree. 6. Would God be a hypocrite and a liar if those 17 rulers ordained themselves instead of God ordaining them like his word tells us? Please provide scriptures if you disagree. 7. Is it true that the job of the high priest is to offer gifts and sacrifices to God? Please provide scriptures if you disagree.
