I love Halloween so when I saw the title to this I was beyond psyched!!! I too attended HHN - can't wait to hear your experience. Already loving the opening with that Joey Lawrence original spooky song. Okay...just finished. Fun episode. Andy, I too am getting my full dose of horror. Freddy vs. Jason is one of my faves. I heart a soft spot for the Freddster. 🖤

Andy’s right in that we catheterize many patients during procedures and especially surgery so they don’t soil themselves and the sterile field. Doesn’t really have to do with where exactly the surgical site is. I do like the conviction with which Matt spoke while being wrong, tho, lol. Don’t let them make you think you’re the dumb little brother, Andy!

@@classicstormwell, Andy said if you get a major operation, you get catheterized, which is true. Then Matt said, “yeah, in that area” and laughed about getting an operation away from the peri area but still getting cathed, which actually does happen (not for procedures requiring only local anesthesia like a biopsy, but for major operations). Then Matt said they could also put an IV in, which has nothing to do with catheterization or whether or not it’s needed. My point was just that Matt spoke to Andy like he didn’t know what he was talking about, but he was far more correct! Also, Andy, we do give you fluid even if we’re emptying your bladder at the same time, because we do need to keep the pressure up at times with fluid and keep you hydrated, and not all fluid given is expelled via your bladder.
