My grandmother used to watch the real Lawrence Welk, and the look of the sketches is spot on. The bubbles, the conductor's baton, the music. We as a family secretly loathed the Lawrence Welk show, so these sketches made us howl.

She's the third link from me, in a long line of inter-generational abuse. I have an anxiety disorder and PTSD because of my mother. Grandma had dementia while my mother took care of her instead of letting her die in a home.
