Great Video, easy to follow and understand...interesting point about the 10V to 1000V and 10kV with the car scenario.

There are teachers and real teachers - lasseviren1 is a real teacher. Your explanations and analogies are excellent. Thanks for clarifying some muddy concepts I had of LC circuits.

Thank you so much, i was having a lot of trouble with the way my teacher translated these equations into shm but you explanation makes a ton of sense. Thank you!

Good teaching video. His visual analogy @04:22 involving the mass tethered to a spring helps drive the basic concept of an LC circuit; another good analogy is a pendulum. In fact, a pendulum can be thought of as the "analogue" version of the LC circuit. When the voltage potential of the capacitor reaches 0, the magnetic field in the Inductor reaches its zenith which causes the capacitor to recharge. When the capacitor is recharged the Inductor's magnetic field is diminished, & the cycle repeats.

Ahhh !! so the inductor opposes the DYING out as well ,thus giving the cap an opposite polarity, exactly what i wanted, @laaseviren1 ,Thanks a million, keep making videos keep helping people !

Awesome video! I've been study LC and LCR relationships for a while and your video has brought more clarity to this topic for me, thanks. I strongly believe that resonant frequency is the key to most 'free energy' (COP => 1) energy devices and solutions.

just a tiny thing at the very end. He says that the A*w is the "maximum a" and the analogous to that in the current equation is the maximum i. The maximum i part is right, but A*w = maximum Velocity. Thanks a lot for the videos ^^

@drhf12147 жыл бұрын
so the reason why he choose cosine is because at cos(w(0)) meaning at the initial time, we would have maximum charge right?
@harshkumar8117 жыл бұрын
Nicole O Yep and if you look at the corresponding equation for the current it would be a sine curve because the current is zero initially
@drhf12147 жыл бұрын
ah so there is a 90 degree lag between the charge and the current

I’m used to seeing current as I not i so that confused me for a while. Other than that great video, really well taught.

I have a stupid question. Can you use an LC circuit to make an inverter or can only only use it to smooth out the current from an inverter?
