I think it’s natural to fall out of the hobby especially when your having new opportunities in your life that you will need to secure the path of your future. I love my dolls but am a grown working married woman. While I work & love my dolls sometimes I come home & hold a baby to help take the stress of the day away. I think the heart let’s us know when it’s truly time to let go. For myself it’s the conclusion of my last baby I got the Zara sculpt by Alicia Toner. I own Lee Middleton babies & have recently parted with Berenguer babies. For me it’s looking into the future & seeing a picture of what I want in my life. Which means some of my dolls are gonna have to go but they’re are some dolls I plan to keep with me. It’s good you’re on this path. There’s nothing wrong with getting on with your life. Maybe one day you’ll come home & want to pick up little Ben. I too have a saskia baby. You have a lot of new adventures awaiting you that will make you the secure woman your working to be, wether it’s riding your horses, photography, film you have so much to look forward to. It doesn’t mean you have to get rid of all your dolls. Your heart will let you know what to do. It’s all natural with growth of life. The skies the limits enjoy your adventures to come. Sometimes the transition is hard but necessary to go through.

You really helped me with me and my dolls. Especially since I’m getting older and I feel sometimes like I’m the only one who plays with dolls at my age (I know I’m not but that’s how it feels). I have a lot of dolls from, in your words different “eras” and I really don’t want to get rid of them. My grandma gave me most of my dolls, and she isn’t here anymore. I feel the same way as you do.

I left at 17 and came back at 28 ish im now 30 I wish I still had my imagination! I love ur Gracie!

I have to agree with this. I have not been bonding with my dolls lately. But when I saw since I reliazed I worked so hard to do gte the dolls. So i am holding all to them. Awesome video

I always had dolls but as a child [en teen] I was not a good doll momy. Im now 27 and since about three years ago Im became a super good doll mommy. Im collecting toy dolls again including that im waiting for a reborn too.

I know how it feels I got out of dolls and I was thinking of putting them in boxes cause I got into Barbies and then like five or three months later I hated Barbies in love and I’m getting my first reborn for Christmas
