Your warmth attracts that beautiful vixen and she is now a star. Old oil and paraffin is the best wood preservative - I used to soak fence posts in an old oil drum full of it for three days and they would never rot. You need to find an air filter for The Leaf that could match the heater and maybe some other things to make the engine look as old as the car. Love the videos Bryan and keep up the good work.

Yay well happy to find a new oakswamp episode , being procrastinating all night about going to bed done all the social media doom scrolling all very samey almost admitted defeat when i thought best have a look on the u tube ! Delighted to see another video definitely best watch this before giving in to the bed calling us ( actually the wife muttering something about go to bed ) Anyway loving the carpentry department suprised to see you using a handplane instead of the angle grinder with a flappy disc ! Like the axle oil wood preserve trick i myself make a homebrew wood preserve /staining bit of boot polish melted in with the oils for a darker tint along with the waxy waterproofing ability but i do mix in a bit of turps as well, apparently it helps the oils soak in the wood grain a bit better ! Cheers there and well run out of procrastinating excuses so should go to bed now its almost time to get up 😅

I'm loving this build. My first car was a '26 Chev. It was my daily drive. It had just that old car smell you're after. Love the li'l fox. I live in Australia and there are loads of feral foxes here . Some silly Englishman thought it would be a good idea to import some so the lads could chase them about. Now they're a bloody disaster. They're driving lots of the little native critters to extinction. Them and fucking cats. Sigh....
