I love how the print fails at 7:20 I am a huge fan of 3dprinting, but to build everything out of even more plastic and foam is not a solution in my opinion

If the list of projects on their website is any indicator, consumers seem to agree with your sentiment

What are you worried about the climate or something? Go live in a mud hut and reject all technology if that's how you feel, greenie.

A wide range of materials can be used in 3D printing. They are always finding new ones. learn some chemistry.

Really appreciated this insight. I really like James Chapman as a host.

So you can also use a mig welder?

love this idea; I'm late to the party,. My only problem is plastic being flamable. or did you figure that problem already?

So is wood. With a little chemistry, fire can be prevented. 3D printing can use a wide range of materials.

Sry but I don't see the benefit in this because the PLA and the spray fome is not eco-friendly and the free forme building still needs a free forme casing to keep the concrete and spray fome in shape first. And the benefit of steel is that it expands and shrinks kind of the same as concrete. (I'm actually pro wood construction

PLA isn't the only thing you can 3d print with. Also the PLA is many times stronger than wood, so it's certainly worth exploring.

That's not PLA they are printing with, he said carbon fiber, which is most often mixed with nylon. But the list of materials we can print with expands all the time.

all those links in the description but not one link to branch technology. super lame. all you did was hold a camera.
