It's surprising how much France is light in the light tank department knowing that the French post WWII doctrine put a lot of importance on very mobile light forces equiped with light tanks. They could have added the uparmored version of the AMX-10RC ages ago.

Deffinetly, the AMX-32s and AMX-40 needs some backup around their BR so you could easily fit in a light tank around 9.7 and then one around 11.0 to match the Leclercs aswell.

Back when the only SPAA you get in the tree before the 30 DCA was the AMX-13 DCA 40 it was also a pretty big jump. 4.7 to 8.3.

If only we could get more Irish vehicles in the game, as they do have some good options. Such as: The Landsverk L-60 (Strv m/38, m/39, m/40K & m/40L), the Churchill Mk. VI, the A34 comet (Including the special variant with no turret and armed with the 90mm Pansarvärnspjäs 1110 recoilless rife in an open mount, The Headless Coachman), the FV101 Scorpion (Once Britain gets it first), the AML-90, the Vickers Medium Mk. D, the MOWAG Piranha IIIH, and more. For aircraft too, there's multiple options.

Welp, it's still subpar even with the reload buff. The firepower is nice, sure, that's not the issue, it's the complete lack of armor, survivability, and the gimped mobility. IIRC the Leclercs have the 2nd worst neutral steering and hull traverse out of the top tier MBTs. There's a video someone tested on that, pretty sad for a MBT that's supposed to be mobile.

Chally, Leclerc, Merkava and Ariete got the short stick from GJ. Even the official statement from Nexter, who says clearly that the Leclerc´s armor is made to withstand multiple APFDS hits doesn´t matter.

" Merkava and Ariete" Only these two got the short stick, the Chally 3 and Leclerc are significantly better then them, I would even put the Leclerc at or above the M1 now and the Chally 3 has similar mobility to the M1, with the same turret armour and a better round, the only thing that hurts it is its reload. "Even the official statement from Nexter, who says clearly that the Leclerc´s armor is made to withstand multiple APFDS hits" Nexter can claim whatever they want, we know their armours performance from the Swedish and Greek tank trials. Also this statement doesn't even outline what calibre of APFSDS.

@@aflyingcowboy31 we also have good intel from yemen, even tho it should have mainly faced heat/heatfs rounds due to the nature of the conflict. i reckon one leclerc out of the 70 sent go severly damaged. if i had to guess, i'd say the leclerc is made to defend against 105 apfsds kinda ""reliably"", and only the 60 degrees frontal arc of the turret is made to take a more intense beating. imo, this tank's main purpose is to fight cold war era asymetrical wars and eat heatfs rounds for lunch, the azur kit developement being a good proof of that. Nexter is certainly doing some marketing move with that statement. whatever nexter says, ingame it's a good enough tank as it always was, and merkava/ariete aren't really getting the love they should. tho i don't know anything about those two so i can't tell by how much

The 6 second reload was there for balance purpose, glad they finally reverted it to the og. The Leclerc would benefit from a more modern APFSDS round, and i would like to get the OE 120 F1, an HE shell would be very nice. Otherwise, i jusrt want light vehicles, the french tech tree has plenty of those from reserve until it stops totally at 8.7 at the exception of the premium VBCI (that still has no TT counterpart)

Leclercs in this game are tormented, they're missing a true top speed of 90kmh, missing armor, great ammo, third gen thermals, and especially hyperbar's applied acceleration

İf you are looking for a mouse i highly recommend rival 5 or aerox 5 same button layouts. İt has decent amount buttons for games like war thunder but also very ergonomic for games like cs 2.

Dropping bombs with the ka50 is more effective than rocketspam. You get ccip 2 500s and 250s you come in super fast and leave fast leaving little time for people to react and use mgs effectively

Brother in Christ the br goes from like 8.7- 9.3- 9.7- 11.7, with the only only stabilizer being at 9.7 and 11.7. They have no light tank that can really compete at 11.7 (and isn't premium) I'm a swedish main but I just ground out the French. It was nothing but pain
