This is an absolutely brilliant video showing every aspect of the reconstruction of the Leek & Rudyard Railway and the volunteers should be extremely proud of their efforts. Keep up the good work and lets see the line extended one of these days.

Just watched this again tommy. What a brill record you have made. So easy to turn up at LRR and take what is in front of you for granted but your video shows what hard work is needed to make this achievement.

Watched it again Steve, Boy, your a glutton for punishment. Seriously though you do tend to forget just how much hard work went into transforming the LRR into what we see today. Not that I did anything other than loiter about with a camera. Everyone should be very proud of their achievements.

I agree and that should also include, all other volunteers, doing their bit when you were not able to record them.

Absolutely Steve. Praise to each and every one of the LRR Volunteers. As I cant get there as often as I would like I miss out on a lot of what is going on. I'm sure there are quite a few of the guys I haven't even met yet. It would be fantastic to get a bit of footage and a few photos of everyone together.

mollsmyre yes it did rather take it out of us, particularly the track work around the yard but all worth it for the end result :) now we can play again!

It's going to be quite an impressive setup once all the work is finished (not that it wasn't impressive before), and great idea to record all this work for posterity, it will be history one day, so it will always be nice to be able to look back at what took place.
