When it comes to Israel’s mortal enemies, the usual suspects are Arab authoritarian regimes, Iran, and the antisemitic far right. And yet, some of the most dangerous wannabe-destroyers of Israel have come from the left. Whether it has been communist states, or terrorist groups, or “peaceful” organizations, the left’s war on Israel has been long and determined.

Objectivists believe in mass murder (Peikoff) and uphold GENOCIDAL BRITISH GEOPOLITICS (google it) against Germany and Europe (ethno-destruction and mass migrant invasion). Their objection to mass murder is open hypocrisy, including, their inability to apply the initiation of force principle properly, in the case of, British encirclement Germany or British invasion of Arabia. It is obvious that Objectivism is nothing more than two-faced ATHEISTIC ZIONISM and is devoid of new intellectuals to realize that. Hacks are not intellectuals. Both communism and zionism are British inventions for world domination. British Fabians groomed Lenin, Stalin, and Trotsky in London. Fabian Sidney Webb was on the King's Privy Council and directly funded Lenin. The REDCOAT REVOLUTION in Russia was a function of British agents, including, freemasonry. Lenin's high school teacher was Kerensky's father, both masons. Masonry answers to the British royal family. Ayn Rand lauded Kerensky with some love-letter and received her break into Hollywood under Cecil B. DeMille. Ayn means eye, as in, all-seeing eye, five-eyes, or intelligence operative. The British created Israel under the Balfour declaration. The Queen knighted Shimon Peres who accepted knighthood on behalf of the state of Israel. As such, Israel is a British-servant state, not a Jewish sovereign-state. It is an extension of GENOCIDAL BRITISH GEOPOLITICS. The real evil empire is Britain. P.S. Ayn Rand plagiarized Hitler. Read Chapter 4 of Vol 2 of Mein Kampf. By supporting GBG, Objectivism is a genocidal movement.

I am a half-studied person ( lazy and not accurate in my knowledge) with a leaning towards supporting jews/ Israel ( even wanted to take my family there for holiday to feel the sun and eat good food. But I think I will wait a few years now...). I am consumed by watching these videos now. I have gotten a better understanding for the whole situation. I can`t fathom that what I learn here is not the truth/ fact. I think the main narrative in Norway is that "palestinians are weak, Israel is evil" but no-one knows this story. It is staggering to me how right the Israelis/ jews are and how wrong the other side is. There are very few "grey areas" to this. There can`t be. Who chops off heads of mothers and throw babies into the fire? Those people won`t get 1 % of sympathy from me. I realize that the palestinians are the ones who suffers tremendously, but sorry; it`s their own fault. Feel sorry for the moderate palestinians, but even they are probably leaning towards supporting all the anti-Israel sentiments here in the west.

Seems shortsighted. Its Islamic zealotry. People read their holy book too literally and grow up in a country that teaches it as law. Why is this different? Well if they were envious they would stop after the Jews but they won't stop until every non muslim is gone. We in the west have long since abandoned these extreme nationalistic views and even frown upon the pure concept of nationalism and religion as a government, that makes it easy to underestimate those who still hold those values as their sole truth. There are many Muslims in the west who might as well be secular but there are also many who would gladly cheer at the downfall of western society as proven by the recent rallies in support of Hamas. Its not just these rallies that are proof but the groups that host and fund them, many of which have a criminal record and ties to islamic extremist groups like IS.

An interesting fact about the 1967 war that you might not know -- after WW2, the UK sold surplus German Enigma cipher machines to Egypt, which they used as the basis for their "secure" military communications. It was still not publicly known at this time that the Enigma had been broken🙂 That was what was responsible for the fantastic military outcome in that war for Israel. They could read all of Egypt's military communications in realtime.

The desire for a Jewish state is understandable and commendable, but it has came at a terrible price. For over 100 years now, Palestinian Arabs have been slowly ethnically cleansed and forceably removed from their homes by Israeli Jews. Why do you think there's so many Palestinians in Gaza? Nearly 2million people packed into a tiny area. Why? Because they were displaced by Jews and herded like cattle into the open-air prison of the Gaza Strip. Although Hamas' actions last week were disgraceful and unfathomably sociopathic, one has to wonder how we might act if we were expelled from our homes by an occupying force, i.e. the Israeli army, and routinely saw our family and friends slaughtered (Israeli army has killed Palestinian citizens effectively at random for decades). Jews owe it to themselves to be honest about what the project of Israel is: an attempt to steal land from Arabs who have lived there for hundreds of years.

When I went to Advanced Infantry Training there was a phase called recon by fire. No not the one you are thinking of. This is as a platoon leader you pick two soldiers to traverse a opening in the wooded area to draw fire. Then you call in artillery. The Palestinians are those privates that got selected to draw fire. As far as the rest of Muslim world is concerned. The Palestinians are expendable for a tactical advantage.. The Muslims do have those that want the world cleaned on non believers. Those that don't want to be the cleansers, watch. After the 2nd time somebody tells me 'I am going to kill you". I agree. Still, what is the root of antisemitism? To me, it is largely envy. It is written in the Torah that the jews are chosen. I wish that verse had never been written in the scriptures. That creates envy. Overall jews are very successful and made innumerable contributions to society for such a tiny piece of the global population. For that, there is envy. When people are programmed at an early age, they become dogmatic and protective of their beliefs regardless how erroneous they may be. This world of duality is the matrix of the thought -forms we reside in. Until we can transcend this matrix, can we be protected from the programming within the matrix.

I could do nothing but respect her position, because it was not based on emotionalism or ideology, but in a great deal of study. I have found that in the discussion of this issue people are either wildly emotional and have no interest in the facts or they are very educated to the truth in the history and those two things do not mix. One day, Ivan came upon a strange-looking lamp and, when he rubbed it, a genie appeared. She told him that she could grant him just one wish, but it could be anything in the world. Ivan said, ‘I want Boris’ goat to die.’” (Thomas Sowell Reader, p. 129). This, in short, is a description of the "envy" that you are speaking about and I fully concur with your analysis.

I'm commenting from an Australian perspective. A few days ago, Australian unions marched in support of Gaza and Hamas, and a few people said "what the heck is all this?" It's a complicated historical rat's nest. Unions in Australia in the 40s and 50s were in the thrall of the USSR. The same policies and combative ideologies formulated by Stalin then, designed to undermine the Australian economy, are still in force today. When Israel was founded in 1948, Stalin initially supported it against Arab opposition, sending it arms and materiel via Czechoslovakia. Unions were thus obediently supportive of Israel (just as they supported Germany when the USSR were allies from 1939-1941). Very quickly, Stalin did the math, and realised the value of 500 million Arab allies against 3 million Jews, and switched policies in 1950. The USSR ramped up anti-Israeli rhetoric and international action. The unions fell obediently into line (as did all left groups in general) and have maintained the same anti-Israel policy ever since. If you've ever wondered why "Left, progressive" (sic) organisations support conservative, patriarchal, far-right organisations in the Middle East, wonder no more.

@iaincook5835
@iaincook5835 10 ай бұрын
@@MissLenaBeamish Stalin did have a problem with Jews, but not in a racial way like his confrere Hitler: Stalin was a psychopathic paranoiac, who saw counter-revolution and disloyalty to the State (and therefore himself) under every bed. During his late 1930s purges, when millions of imaginary foes perished, he imagined Jewish doctors (who, as in our society, were very prevalent) were out to get him, and purged them mercilessly. His paranoia regarding Jewish loyalty to themselves and their religion, and not to the State - which is not all that dissimilar to Hitler's delusions - grew and festered. Eventually, in the early 50s, he planned to round up and exile (or murder) hundreds of thousands of Jews before he - mercifully - died in 1953. A 2002 BMJ retrospective has it thus: The infamous “Doctors' Plot” speaks volumes about Soviet politics, Stalin's role, the persistence of a medieval view of doctors as potential poisoners, and the survival of overt anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union, despite the known horrors of the recent Holocaust. For Stalin, whose deeds easily matched those of Hitler and whose deceits had been evident throughout his life, the Doctors' Plot and intended show trial were meant to cleanse the Soviet Union of “foreign,” “cosmopolitan,” and “Zionist” (read Jewish) elements. In fact, it was the only one of Stalin's show trials that did not come off-only because he died just before the spectacle was to begin.

Nikos is right. It's often hard to understand the incoherent and irrational leftists. However, the one thing that does seem consistent throughout almost all of the leftist activism, support of failure. Victimhood has been raised by the left to the status of virtue, regardless of circumstance. It doesn't matter if the victimhood is a direct result of a person's or people's own actions. All that is necessary to be virtuous in the eyes of leftists is failure, which equals victimhood. Correspondingly, if failure is a virtue, success itself must be evil. The success of Western Civilization and its free enterprise to raise the standard of living across the globe is not cheered by leftists, but instead decried as evil capitalism and oppressive patriarchy. Its very success is proof to the leftists that it is evil. The state of Israel is obviously successful, so it must be evil. The Palestinians are what is left of the failed Arab wars against Israel. The Arab nations have, at least temporarily, dropped their attempt to destroy Israel and have abandoned the Palestinians. The Palestinians themselves have accomplished little other than terrorist attacks on Israel. The Palestinians could be a poster child for failure and victimhood. In the eyes of leftists, Palestinians are therefore virtuous and must be supported.

Yup, as an actual liberal Democrat I have been sick to my stomach so to speak since around 2016 about what my party was doing and how so called "liberals" were acting. I didn't support Trump, but it was clear he was being railroaded, which was totally unnecessary given that he's Trump. But none the less, the DNC took it there, and the media was in pocket. They even bragged about it when Biden took office in a Time mag article called "the secret shadow campaign that saved the election". Where they literally brag about manipulating, deceiving, the American public, and making up what they considered "righteous lies", to oust Trump and get Biden elected. In 2020, they used racial division, and the entire African Amrican community for this agenda, as the DNC clearly instigated the rise of BLM, in riots that killed 25 people. And then as soon as Biden took office, poof, it all just stops. BLM disappear with millions, and not a single thing was achieved. I tried alerting other so called liberals about this, and all I got was vitriol and disregard, being called a fake liberal haha, and a Trumo supporter. Even though I never voted for the man once. I didn't vote for Biden either, or HIllary before, but other candidates just because I refuse to vote the establishment candidate when they so clearly lie and deceive, which they did to Bernie in 2016, that probably gave Trump the election. They were so inflicted with trump derangement syndrome, there was no getting through to anyone really. It was like talking to wood. Instead I found myself being heckled and berated for my "whataboutisms" and "bothsidisms", basically just empty and fallacious accusations as they had no real argument, just vitriol and hate. Those BLM riots that killed 25 people, most people don't know this. But 25 is the number of unarmed black Americans killed by police in 2018 or 2019, i forget which. THAT was the reality. The rhetoric was obviously completely distorted. In fact, thehy never ever gave the actual number in the media. Instead they would always use the same statistic. That unarmed blacks are 2.5x more likely to be killed by police than whites. But if you understand numbers, that can be quite deceptive. As 2.5x 1 is 2.5 lol. So if we are dealing with such low numbers, the disparity is not nearly what they made it seem. Of course attempting to explain that to marxists masquerading as liberals, was impossible. I was again called a racist, and a Trump supporter and all variety of nasty things. I'm a lifelong liberal Dem who worked for the party for years. Only ever voted Republican once and it was for the liberal in disguise Bloomberg when he ran for mayor lol. I am glad many actual liberals are finally waking up though. Maybe there is still time to salvage the Democratic party before its too late. I still havent jumped ship because I feel, if I did, and people like me did, then suddenly we've actually handed the entire party over to these insane marxists, which could ultimately be disastrous for the country. Anyway, welcome to enlightenment fellow liberal. I think we need to take that name back and make it mean something again.

Ayn Rand spent her entire life characterizing the average person as a parasite for any reliance on the state at all and ended her life riddled with cancer, because she refused to stop smoking, and penniless because she was a nightmare to try and cooperate with...all of which conspired to see that she was taken care of by state social programs until the day she died. I'd be hesitant to hitch any wagon to anything associated with someone who clearly had a loose grasp on what they believed to such a degree that they became the things they hated because of pride, and resentment, and the ignorance of self that comes along with them. Communists aren't great, but they also don't have a monopoly on idiocy. I'd rate Rand's philosophy as being as poorly conceived, stupid, and devoid of compassion as any Communist ideology and demonstrably as destructive.

I fell into the pro-Palestinian trap for a while after 9-11, primarily because I was listening to people like Noam Chomsky, Amy Goodman, and Ward Churchill, the Blame America First triumvirate. Eventually, I began to see through all of the half-baked ideas they spout, which they dress up in a sort of phony intellectualism. The stake in the heart was listening to Christopher Hitchens' crucifixion of the Palestinian "cause" and the false equivalency promulgated by the far Left. Thankfully, there are clear-headed thinkers like Nikos who are able to slice through all the baloney being put out there about Israel's supposed culpability for the Hamas' atrocities.

Nikos' lecture was very affirming for me, because I too have believed for decades that the key to understanding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is what he calls "the underdog principle" along with its concomitant reliance on basic human envy. The perverse effects on the current conflict of these principles is that the "underdogs" do not wish to be lifted up to economic and cultural parity with their Israeli neighbors, but to bring Israel down to the level of their own poverty and misery. This envy principle appears to be a flaw in human nature that has regrettably been with us throughout man's history.

@@ndgrad22 In the case of the Gazan Arabs, obviously not. The human flaw of envy runs deep in the human psyche. I'm the very farthest from being a Biblical scholar, but from my childhood religious education, I think i recall that there are important parables in the Old Testament that examine this basic psychological phenomenon of human motivation. One would be the Genesis story of Joseph and his robe. The angry jealousy of his brothers caused them to steal his coat of many colors and sell him into slavery with the Ishmaelites for 20 pieces of silver. It is also dealt with in the Ten Commandments as number 10 which prohibits covetness and theft of a neighbor's possessions. So, the weakness of envy and the desire to destroy the accomplishments of others out of jealous resentment has been around for a very long time. It seems obvious that it is a driving force behind the egregious animalistic behavior of organizations like Hamas. If a basic human instict were to strive to lift oneself up, think of what the Palestinian Arabs could have created in Gaza with the billions of dollars which have flowed into the territory from the developed world community and other Arab countries. Nikos is right.

I also pray for the ones attacking Israel, that they will realize their rebellion against God, turn from their wicked ways and repent to God. God is, always, in control, even though it may not appear so, and is the source of all life, He loves us, and His Son, Jesus, makes it possible for the Holy Spirit dwell within each of us as His temple, and give us HIs perfect peace, so, whatever our circumstances, we can live in this unshakable, unfathomable peace! This prayer is just part of a larger prayer against the evil that seeks to hide the truth of God's redemptive plan of salvation through Jesus, the Messiah, from whoever and wherever each individual person may live, that desire to know God and His will for their lives. Yes, you are, indeed, blessed to live in Israel. I would love to visit there sometime, of course, during a time when it is not actively under attack! It isn't likely to be any time soon, even if Israel was safe to visit right now, though, short of a miracle, due to the current circumstances in my life. It is amazing to see the incredible level of prosperity in Israel, especially considering the short amount of time that it has been re-established as a nation in 1948 and the many miracles that are an integral part of Israel, not only in the distant history, but also in the recent history and the present, as well!

Okay, clarified, and so typical of the hyperbole of the antisemitic Left. We have no common ground or even common language between us but I'll back up my statement for others reading. First of all there's nothing whatsoever similar about my language and that of Hitler. So, I said that Israel would turn Gaza's s**hole into a thriving vibrant country and Gazans would turn beautiful Israel into a s**hole. Let's look to see if history backs that up. Even though there have always been Jews living in Israel in the late 19th Century we started returning in greater numbers. What we found was a neglected backwater of the Ottoman empire. Travel writers, including Mark Twain, John Steinbeck and Herman Melville attested to this. The Jews found a land of malarial swamps in the north, and arid dead desert in the south, and for all intents and purposes a sleeping and abandoned Jerusalem. We look today at what Israel has done and the first half of my statement speaks for itself. In 2005 Israel UNILATERALLY left Gaza. In effect telling the Gazans that they now have a country and their destiny is completely in their own hands. Israel left behind modern housing and state of the art agricultural infrastructure including modern greenhouses. What did the Gazans do? The blew them up with explosives. I've been to Gaza in the 1980s. The beaches were beautiful, much like the beaches in southern California with palisades and dune networks. With the billions of dollars that sympathetic European and Gulf Arab states poured into Gaza they could've easily created a booming, green tourist economy, the Riviera of the eastern Mediterranean. Maybe even a little Dubai and a bright future for themselves and their children. But what did Gaza do? They voted for hamas in 2007 and took that money that could've gone to schools and hospitals and turned the concrete and irrigation pipes into terror tunnels and rockets and polluted beaches. This proves the second part of my statement. So take your neoMarxist BS back to whatever college campus you slithered out of. It may wash there but it doesn't in sane, ethical society. @@hughmac13

There is even more ignorance outside of the West.
@arthas640
@arthas640 10 ай бұрын
the problem in the west is less about ignorance, after all nearly all the Jews outside of Israel are in the West and even in places like the US you'll see tons of Jewish media, it's more about repressed and unacknowledged antisemitism and weaponizing political issues for political gain. Under dog stories are popular in media and many liberal groups want to seem more inclusive so they back a lot of pro Palestinian stuff to draw in more Arabs and to seem like they're rooting for the under dog. A lot of people know a fair amount about the situation, they just dont really care since it conflicts with their goals and since backing Israel means not supporting the under dog Palestinians. It also doesnt help that antisemitism (and racism in general) is still present in many liberal, left, and far left groups but since left wing ideologies like to view themselves as the anti-racist, inclusive parties they ignore antisemitism and deny it. Backing Palestine is a nice way for them to pretend like its not racially motivated and allows them to both back the under dog and get points for that, and if they can get the west to abandon Israel and stop supporting them then they can just sit back and watch the Arabs finish what the Germans started and pretend like racism had nothing to do with things.

One of the best analysis on this topic that I've heard. This gentleman literally nailed it by exposing long-term problem of the Left with an envy. Such a simple but an ingenious point! Same reason is behind proposing huge taxation on successful (and so rich) people, emphasis of equality, redistribution (it doesn't matter so much how I'm doing as long as my neighbor/competing company/other race or nationality isn't better off)...

That's BS, we see how the ultra rich wants it all and don't care about our citizens! Them making record profits while we are going through very difficult times should show you that

being rich is okay as long as you are paying your employess who helped you get rich a livable wage and not freezing their pay, cutting their benefits all while you're trippling your income, owning multiple homes you barely use around the globe, yada yada yada BS.

You need to look at the 50's and sixties. Every dollar over 400,000 was taxed at 92%. We paid the war debt off and the economy did well. It started under Eisenhower and continued to Reagan. Not at 92% but close.

Excellent work, Nikos! Am I hearing a Spanish accent from a Greek? Love it! PS I was in Athens during the trials of the diktatorion and I remember a demonstration at which Greek socialists were screaming “death to Israel, death to the Jews”. So it is deeply comforting for me to see you speak like this.

Greek and Spanish accents are alike! Anti-Israeli sentiments (and anti-americanism) have been rampant in Greece. And it's actually much better now than in the part. Arafat (the original leader of the PLO) was a guest of honour to the conferences of the then ruling socialist Party.

Orthodox Christian nations are deeply antisemitic. They are probably the most antisemitic groups in the world. It has deep roots in that form of Christianity. About the accent it is clrearly Greek but there is a mysterious overlap with Spanish. I am myself a native Spanish speaker who has been dumfounded by how similar the pronounciation of both sound specially when speaking English. I even get confused sometimes.
