The Legacy of Jonathan Larson - Heartworks 2016

The Marfan Foundation honored Jonathan Larson at the 2016 Heartworks gala in New York City and gave special tribute to his family for all they have done to promote Marfan syndrome awareness among healthcare providers and the public in the 20 years since Jonathan's death. Jonathan, who was the award-winning playwright of RENT, died of an aortic aneurysm, believed to have been caused by Marfan syndrome. He had never been diagnosed and died before the play opened on Broadway.

People, whole countries have destroyed other countries on false pretenses and never admitted or said sorry. This was just one person. Such is ego of humanity. Such is our chaos

They paid the max fine they could pay under state law which was very low in context (something like $12k) but the message it sent was the worst rebuke a hospital could get
