I met Lane and he was a personable and friendly young man. It was an accidental meeting, but I felt an instant connection to him and he was someone special who you could not sit in the rain at under a bus stop shelter, without knowing you wee in the presence of someone special. Wayne Frost is a quiet man of few words and great feeling. I am glad this KZbin video treated Lane's parents as they deserve to be treated. I ate lunch with them at Las Vegas during the NFR with Cody Custer's family. Rodeo is a small community. Thank God for Lane, and all those cowboys like him! Good country people who love Jesus and their fellow humans unconditionally.

I was in Cheyenne that day, this happened right in front of me. I grew up in Georgia but I moved to Cheyenne in the early 80’s. Cheyenne Frontier Days is always such a fun week of the summer. Great concerts, lots of rodeo, pancake breakfasts and parades. We went to the rodeo that day, we watched Lane’s ride, he rode the full 8 seconds, after he got off the bull he ended up on the ground where the bull gored him. He stood up and walked four or five steps and then dropped back down to the ground. We didn’t know until later in the afternoon when they flashed across our television that he had died. Of course we didn’t know him but we were so sad for him and his family and friends.

I am also a Bereaved Mother. We are brothers and sisters 💕 21 years I lost my 13 yr old after he was hit by an out of control car going 70mph. No time to react, no time to run. He was simply getting the mail looking for his Xbox magazine.😢💔 He was a born Cowboy and horse whisperer. I imagine he'd have a career in Rodeo riding unsaddled broncs. He loved riding bareback. "Mom, what's the point of tacking my horse when she rides so well bareback?'😌🤠💔

Sometimes angles are called home early. What takes some a lifetime to accomplish he did in a short time here on earth.

I wasn't into rodeo then (I hadn't moved to Montana yet), but now I love it, and bull riding is my favorite (though I love all the events). I've seen videos/films of him riding bulls, and he was amazing. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. and Mrs. Frost, because you never really get over losing one of your children, whatever their age.

In the 60s Clyde came by my father's place near Colorado Springs to try a calfroping horse. At the time he was living south of La Junta, Colorado. The memories of Rodeo are important. You had a wonderful son, Frosts.

Hi there lanes family. Had the privilege to have me him .at little red river ,riding, and roping club. Yeah i was just a boy that was forced to be a man . Lost my father to cancer. Working with the animal's was helping feed up .taught me how to cover the bull and or . Animals that was so awesome. I was able to toss that bail over the fence in one motion. ❤❤ . As a lil club we had .f club! Our steers was sold . Our boss bull was like a huge puppy to us. Looking after the heard. Greatful memories we shared.
