In a democratized economy, everyone would gain in wealth, but the wealthiest's share of the whole would be decreased, and along with it, their political power. Therefore, the politics of division piting one segment of the electorate against another to keep them in disunity and from focusing on the economic inequality and the political inequality it helps maintains.

I don't know about most most of the US, but considering 80% of my state's oil and 60% of my states natural gas comes from Canada, I'm not sure if we'll make it past the next 4 years. Also not so fun fact, the 2nd amendment right before the everyone has the right to bare arms part, it says for the defense of our nation we need a WELL REGULATED militia. Last I checked a random person with like 10 guns isn't a well regulated militia. There's a good argument that any lack of gun control is unconstitutional.
@qilinger46859 күн бұрын
To Americans both ammendments are slightly different. The first 10 are percieved to be intended by their idolized founding fathers, so they believe THOSE are sacred. The rest were added afterward by different people, so the ammendments afterward could be disputed. In my opinion though this viewpoint is faulty since hundreds, if not thousands of people were involved in the drafting of the first ten ammendments. It's not like George Washington and friends came down from heaven and went "we will do these".

Shes cool, but when she said governments cant go after companies because it's private, she forgets to mention that Facebook, twitter, and other social media sites have taken federal funding, have special federal contacts. Saying the government shouldn't do that when they did just exactly that by having every social media company follow their "guidelines" on what speech should and shouldn't be hosted, makes her entire complaint seem super hypocritical. The fact is that these social media companies not only take federal funding indirectly, they also benefit from private companies who also take federal funding, like the telecoms, given how much bandwidth they truly need. What this results in is a government company pretending to be a private one so the government can use it to censor your speech while getting around the 1st amendment. Go figure that when freedom of speech is allowed to flourish, people founded another platform that naturally holds the values it wants, instead of making the federal government do it for them.

they arent cutting healthcare, they are getting rid of state requirements for healthcare and government-funded healthcare. By doing this, insurance companies have to pay competitive pricing instead of inflated prices for the sake of profits. This would make the USA on par with healthcare affordability in Mexico, Europe, and South America. It would also prevent the abuse of taxpayer money towards cosmetric treatments for rainbow cultists.
