For clarity... the Dragoon Spirits were created by sacrificing the ancient dragons and harnessing their spirits. After this is done, a vassal dragon spawns in it's place to serve the spirit of the dragon that was sacrificed. That scene with Zieg was showing what happened just after the ancient darkness dragon (Black Burst Dragon) was killed, and it shows the vassal dragon spawning in it's place.

The dragoon spirits were made when the tree is reborn. A new fruit spawns and thus a new dominant species is born onto the earth. Pretty sure it goes dragon human dragoon or dragoon then human. Been too long I can’t remember.

@@Gir-Riff-raffe Nope humans are the 106th fruit, while Wingleys are the 107th fruit. Dragoons are not a species, they are a fusion between humans and dragons. The Wingleys believed that the creator hatched the fruits in a specific order to establish a hierarchy, which is why Wingleys believed they were superior to all species, and why they believed they should rule the world. The story structure of the dragon campaign is simple... defeating the Wingleys required power and intelligence. Humans had the intelligence, but lacked power; dragons had power, but lacked intelligence, but Emperor Diaz found a way to have both... and that levelled the playing field and led to the Wingley's defeat.

"Why does he say Blossom storm?" When Lavtiz uses the Flower Storm addition he yells "Rose Storm", because the devs wanted them say the name of their favorite flower when performing that addition. Lavtiz states early in the game that Roses are his favorite flower, while Albert says Blossoms are his favorite flower later on.

I love how many things can fly under the radar in the game's history. Like in Bale, when you see that guy talking about how he's rich. That is dran the poor drunk man under the bridge in present-day Bale

Ok, but like, The Trophy names are obviously added MUCH later than the game was created, but there are some really good pun names for some of them lol. "Archangel, Archangel. Will you be mine?" THAT'S SUCH A FUNNY ONE A play on the song Earth Angel? COME ON! XD

there is only ONE part of this entire game I don't actively love and enjoy - and that's Michael! Congrats on nearing the end - and super happy to see you giving some other characters some screen time! also look at Dran before he became the dude who lives in the sewer! so neat!

Oh the final stretch. Everyone's story and growth has to a head and found closures all that's left is save Shana. Last chance for grinding and leveling. On that note several more levels wouldn't be a bad idea. All of us viewers know the best team for the final fight but you pick your team, you beat Faust so I believe in you. Sticking near the inn isn't a bad idea for leveling as sleeping costs less than potions. I want to say each area has its own enemies but I might be wrong. anyway it has been a blast reliving this story with someone that appreciates a retro masterpiece.

I also thought Michael was an odd name years ago but realizing it recently, in a biblical sense it's appropriate. Saint Michael was the chief archangel of the heavens and dueled Satan in the book of Revelations. So it's fitting that the Vassal Dragon has such name, given that he's the poster child for Emperor Diaz' declaration of war against the Winglies. He's the dragon that one shot and gave chase to an entire army of Virages during the Dragon Campaign flashback. Can't say the same for the wingly Archangel tho . Might have been just the old winglies' idea of an augmented superbeing seeing as how much they are obseesed with transcendence and biological superiority

Bruh. This playthrough is turning into such a Mean Girls meme. Stop trying to make Rose happen. She's never going to happen. Oh no, we better grind her additions now she almost has her last one!! But like... stop. Lol. She missed the boat already. You didn't use her all game and then you swap her in for end game all of a sudden? She has like 1800 hp and gets nearly oneshot by everything while everyone else has around 3,000. Come on, use your actual good team... you know, the one you've been investing in all game long? Also, congrats on a year-long playthrough, lul. 🤣
