Dark Horse Comics does sell a very expensive Aang temple statue, as well as other figures. Midtown Comics used to have it too. Also, metalbending would be a subset of Earthbending so not a 5th element. It's in the same group as sandbending, lavabending, lightning, bloodbending, manipulating mud, vines, etc. An extension or specific skill under one or more of the 4 elements.

So there is only 5 bending/ power skills Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Energy. Things like Metal and Lava are earth just a sub-class skill of it. Well energy is something only the Lion turtles and Spirits can do as well as the Avatar as they are part spirit. So things like taking the element from someone, energy beam, avatar state.

Hey, sry if im going about this the wrong way and you only accept recommendations through Patreon, but i feel like "Cowboy Bebop" the original Anime would be a really nice series for you to react to. I think your analytical, detailoriented and intelligent reactionstyle would fit it perfectly (again: apologies if you've seen it before or YT-comment reccomendations are frowned upon here). To why i'd love for your reaction: -Its (imo) one of the most atmospheric anime ever. I know many people that active dislike sci-fi but grew to love the series. -It has an awesome soundtrack - Jazz / Blues and most of it very funky -It deals with darker story lines and not so happy endings -The character development and backstory are (though in some regards brief) very effective and intriguing -timeless and very nostalgic animationstyle (for 1998 theres some damn dynamic action scenes) - And again i can't praise the overall atmosphere of this masterpiece enough (obviously biased) I usually don't really comment at all on YT but in this case i felt compelled to, since i've been enjoying your content so much.

I know the narrator says korra is the first metal bending avatar, but I just don't believe that Like 50+ years and toph never taught aang how to do it? at all? I don't believe that's true

It’s possible, Aang already had trouble learning Earthbending , so he might’ve had difficulties learning metal bending, especially since in the time he and Toph were actively traveling together, she only recently discovered it herself

According to the graphic novels, Toph said Aang "doesnt have the stomach for it". Bending capabilities are more of a reflection of their personality, not their ability to learn.
