Thanks for uploading this. I had fond memories of playing this game when I was a kid, but everytime I looked the music up on youtube I was like "No way! The music did NOT sound that terrible!". Now I know mine was using the MT-32. Thanks!

Did you own an MT-32 at the time? This game is actually notable for the MT-32 version sounding almost identical to the Sound Blaster (which is really Adlib in this case?) version.

@@JaredJosephHoag It's very far from identical sounding. MT-32 instruments sound so much better, fuller and more orchestral than tinny and synthetic FM-synth ones, it's not even close. I respect OPL2, but it's just incapable of producing anything close to what MT-32 does, two completely different sound signatures.

Can someone explain all this? As far as I can find this game has only been released for Amiga, DOS, FM Towns, Mac, and PC-98. I have no idea what this 'MT-32' version is. As far as I can find, an MT-32 is a synthesizer, a musical instrument, not a computer or console. Why are there so many versions of this soundtrack, multiple of them involving MT-32?

Hi, @DaveGrean, this MT-32 version is the soundtrack of the MS-DOS version running on a PC connected to a Roland MT-32 device, which only the MS-DOS version was compatible with to my knowledge.

For anyone seeking a good OST download of this game, Sierra still hosts an amazing version of it in .ogg here: www.sierramusiccentral.com/lkcd.html

Not the same. That one is MT-32 with other stuff, while this video is only MT-32.
