So, I noticed right when percy was dying the gun glowed. And Ripley said that anyone killed by those guns gives their soul to Orthax. So I'm guessing Orthax currently has Percy's soul and Im hoping the group finds a way to, at the very minimum, free his soul.

Ooooh I did not catch that actually! Nice pick up! I think this will definitely lead to bringing back Percy in a beautiful was just like on stream as well. And in a story/writing perspective, well earned resurrection too~

People will hate me for this but I honestly agree! I understand people being upset because of something not being adapted into the way you wanted but hence why it's called an adaption. We will always have the live shows they will never go away, but this is the interpretation they wanted and I honestly loved it! Yes would've been great to have EVERRYTHING in animation but then where is the originality or mystery to it?

The only scene in fiction that made me cry as much as this one did is the finale of Ghost of Tsushima. Ripley can burn in the deepest pits of Hell. Orthax sucks just as much. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I despise them both.

@@CrazyFangirlReviews don't get me wrong, Orthax is one of my favorite villains in fiction. He's badass as all hell and is overall a menace. But I will enjoy his demise. Greatly.

I also have no clue what theyre setting up with Pike and her blood. Im actually not sure what theyre doing with her at all. The whole point of Pike is that she was s SO pious and SO faithful that she was able to restore the everlight to her former glory by spreading the faith and raising a new temple. So Pike's whole "I dont need the everlight" thing is....kinda weird? I mean, i trust what theyre doing and all its just...strange.

I think it might have something to do with Downfall. The Everlight did leave biological children behind in Exandria when she was incarnated. But we'll see if that's where they're going with it.

@@elbruces I'm not sure about that. Seeing as Downfall just happened, and these episodes were written ages ago. The way I'm seeing it is maybe it's all about Pike coming into her own, as opposed to being fully dependent on the Everlight.

I replied to your comment similiar on ep 3 but just to reiterate. I believe that its to show the strength in believing in her own power instead of relying 100% on a God. Ashley and the cast have spoken about how they wanted to flesh out her story more and go in a direction Ashley wanted to go in (mainly because she was away so much in C1) with the character. I think that's why the resurrection and healing instances haven't been strong because she needs to find a balance in both belief of her god and herself. And Downfall (from my terrible memory) its hinted she's the Everlight's decsendant? (happy to be corrected if I'm wrong Critters)

​@@PlayWatch_616 really? I could see that happening. I did also rewatch S2 and Kash used his blood for Vex's resurrection as well before Vax made the deal with the Raven Queen. So I think Pike will find out her blood can be used to bring Percy back through a resurrection ceremony.

They've made some significant deviations from the campaign. Percy might be back, but nothing is certain.

There’s no way they could tell the rest of the campaign without him. I think they’ll try to save his soul from Orthax which is when they’ll kill Ripley. It could also be the moment where Pike regains her faith in the Everlight in order to revive Percy.
