For your questions during the fight: Vampires have damage resistance to non-magical attacks. And they regenerate health every round, unless the take radiant (light) damage. So Pike is a priest of the Everlight. In the fight she enchanted Grog's axe so that it was magical and doing radiant damage. Thus, it started doing full damage AND stopping the healing. When he does the "ball tag" maneuver, that's not enchanted so Silas just didn't care, he knew it would heal.

Not just that Silas didn't care. Ball tag simply didn't do anything because of damage resistance. He reacts to other sources of damage, even though they heal super fast.

Vox Machina was out gunned in that fight, the briarwoods are a very powerful couple, sylas is a vampire lord, and while delilah is not, she is however a powerful wizard... they telegraph sylas' vampiric state when they pass in front of a mirror after percy's outburst at the dinner that shows only delilah has a reflection.

His also happens to be in the colors of the bisexual flag. Guessing that's not a coincidence. Loving your reactions. Can't wait to see how you experience the next episodes.

no mercy percy is a very real thing. looking forward to see your reactions when the plot starts unfolding. This is campaign as it was streamed episode 1 and 2 was part of their home game that was never public, but it is still important to the overall plot, plus it served as an excellent intro to the characters to all the non critters out there like you :P :D yes Uriel is still under the vampire influence.

Have you started to catch on the group's biggest and most cunningly evil of enemies??? A locked door.... so in dnd everything you try comes down to a dice roll. The DM will tell you the type of stat or ability bonus to use to add to your roll, against a DC or difficulty class, so let say this is a normally locked, non magical door, the DM might set the DC low like just a 4 or 5, you roll a D20 add your bonus and if you are higher than the DC you did the action.... but even a low DC isn't a guarantee and a natural 1 or nat 1, is a critical miss which usually leads to damage to you or the object. Another character can try also OR they can aid you which gives "advantage" which means you roll 2 d20 and keep the higher of the 2 rolls.... but even with advantage it's not a guarantee.... in the actual play, the group has notoriously bad luck opening locked doors early on, until they get big enough roll bonuses to make up for the low rolls. A lot of groups have this issue tho.

For the monitor, try different cables/input ports. It's 99% a bad connection, the re-initiation black flash is how a digital connection error looks most of the time. Problem is if it's not the cable you have to replace the port on the tv/computer and soldering that is a specialty job not many can do. In the good old days we had the snow to tell us when there was an issue, with digital even the smallest of smallest error and it's all or nothing :)

This is how D&D often goes. Players, especially new ones, often want to just jump into every fight and wreck face. Some even try and fight and kill NPCs that aren't hostile -- we call those players "murder-hobos", because they'll even try to murder hobos 😁 (And if you rewatch episode 1, you'll hear a reference to that in the show!) But sometimes, the right move is to run away from a battle and come back when you're higher level -- especially when the Big Bad shows up. Otherwise, you risk a TPK (Total Party Kill), i.e. every player dying.

Huh, I always interpreted "murder hobos" as like, DnD parties generally don't have a fixed home (unless the DM dumps a castle on them), and ALSO travel place to place doin' a murder at anything that moves. The term is a little problematic anyway, but I don't think it's because they murder hobos.

I'm not sure if Vax and the names was the character or was Liam showing through. I think it was Liam, cause Caleb (Liam's campaign 2 character) gave nicknames too. I'm not 100% about Orym (C3), but I think he does too.

I have that issue at my office. I can do 2 monitors but using 3, after a while one of them always starts going black for a second or 2 and just gets worse. Never figured that out

it is probably a hardware issue the video card gets hot it uses more power to run multiple monitors, the card you have can't handle the extra load would be my guess. without knowing what video card you have it is only a guess i may be wrong, when was the last time you cleaned your video card added dust accumulation on the heat sink can reduce the heat dissipation and cause a kind of brown out situation. the cables can also go bad or be loose in the connection also a long cable reduces the signal strength. good reaction it love this show.

Your computer monitor and TV have different resolutions. Using one or the other won't cause an issue but if you show the same thing on both screens at the same time, the picture occasionally goes out of sync.
