The easiest way to beat Calamity Ganon is by using the entire set of Barbarian armor fully upgraded so you can deal heavy damage when Ganon enters the shielding part quickly use Urbosa's fury or Daruk's protection to cancel his shielding to attack him

nooooo these bossfights are nothing close to Dark Souls bosses. Link doesn't have a quickly accesible dodge roll, that you can use over and over again. I also definitely wouldn't say smoother either, tons of FPS drops. not smoother in combat mechanics either, but definitely better ranged usage compared to DS3.

Best way to kill the blights is to use Ancient arrows, i killed Windbight and Fireblight on first try like that, they count as a variant of Guardian so it does insane damage

Sad that final Ganon is too slow to do anything awesome in this. A couple added factors could make Ganon more memorable. 1: He could have an explosive attack forcing you to quickly withdraw. 2: Summon some minions you need to eliminate. 3: Have his health bar go down slower. I hope Nintendo does at least the third thing and eithrer of the other two.

I swear though that Vah Medoh was intended to be done first. Easiest Divine Beast battle and the easiest dungeon with the easiest Ganonblight boss. Not to mention there's barely any story or character development with it like a lot of the other Divine Beasts.

The bosses weren't really the main focus (other than Ganon), the focus of this game was really more on the Exploration, I mean, you can just skip everything else and go straight to Ganon if you wanted once you can go to Hyrule castle, every boss apart from Ganon is skippable.

The final boss is such a fucking disapointement. Why didn't they just make a Human Ganondorf like in every other Zelda games where you beat him up in the ruins of Hyrule Castle in a fair sword fight ? I hope the DLC is going to fix this shit !

Green magma It's a disapointement because I expected way more than a copypaste of the other 4 bosses and a simple minigame of "shoot the targets". Every 3D Zelda game with Ganon ends up with a duel against Ganondorf, the human version of Ganon. I expected it there and I was really let down.

Its difficult if you take no divine beasts down, and fight the lynels on the way. Try that then come say that again. Ive tried it before. Its a lot more difficult but a very fun challenge.

does anyone else find calamity ganon's insect forms' death extremely disturbing? hes wailing and shrieking in agony like a dying baby as blood, pus and infected dark viscous fluid sprays out of every wound you've inflicted on his malformed corpse! i think this should have been his true death animation, the final form just evaporated. this was one of the goriest spectacles i've seen in zelda... rivaling the slaughtering of beast ganon in OoT!!!

You could break Vah Ruta's ice with cryosis?!?! wtf All I ever did to deal with them was shoot them with an arrow whenever they came after me, although I know that if you delay the fight long enough to get a more stamina, you can cheese the fight and make it 1/2 the length. Also, I should of known that Waterblight was very vulnerable to shock arrows. Shoulda figured that a bow like the duplex bow would break the Vah Neboris fight. Though I fought most of these bosses save Windblight with perfect dodges and flurry rushes instead of arrow spam. Eh, I suppose it's the safer way to go.
