The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. It was first released in Japan and North America in November 1998. In Ocarina of Time, the player controls the playable character Link in the fantasy land of Hyrule. Link sets out on a quest to stop Ganondorf, king of the Gerudo tribe, from obtaining the Triforce, a sacred relic that grants the wishes of its holder. He travels through time and navigates various dungeons to awaken the sages, who have the power to seal Ganondorf away forever. Music plays an important role: To progress, the player must learn to play several songs on an ocarina. The game was responsible for increased interest in and sales of the instrument.
Koji Kondo is a Japanese music composer, pianist, and sound director who works for the video game development company Nintendo. He is best known for his involvement in numerous titles in the Mario and The Legend of Zelda series of video games, among other games produced by the company. Kondo was originally hired by Nintendo in 1984, becoming the first person hired by the company to specialize in musical composition for games. Shortly after, Kondo was assigned as the sound designer on the 1985 game Super Mario Bros. His sound design for the game, more specifically the musical theme for the overworld, are often cited as the most memorable in video games.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time, I did this arrangement over the holidays and poured a lot of time and effort into this one. I'd like to be known other than the 'guy who did the Max Payne theme', and I'm hoping this video will be a little more successful. If you have fond memories as a young one running through Hyrule field, and racing Epona on Lon Lon ranch, feel free to share this video around.
Before anyone asks, YES - I did 2 takes of this and spliced them together - the reason being so I could play with more camera angles (the one above the piano, and the one to the left of the piano), since I only have 2 iphones to record on. I also need to play about with the colour and light levels, especially with the Left Camera angle, hence why I look white as a ghost under the spotlights.
