Honestly everyone hates these sections but I honestly feel like they aren’t bad. Like Tadtones are a nice easy breezy pace where you have all the time in the world to swim around and collect them. Eldin isn’t to bad either.

Yes. You do dragons for "Song Of The Hero" after you kill the parasite, that infested the Earth Spirit (a giant flying whale which lives in that circular thundercloud). And then you come back to him to complete the song and go to find a trial for the Triforce, after which you do a certain thing with a reward for that trial and subsequently find the location of the Triforce.
