I think the BOTW graphics fit the game since it's like nature is reclaiming the land. It has a very bright, realistic feel to it during the day but then a lonely feeling at night. The malice they did a good job making that like an infection trying to stop your progress in some ways. I just think it having a darker tone like TP wouldn't fit as well given it is kind of the regrowth of it all.
